We had a lovely stay here as two couples on a short ski break in Zermatt. We got a fabulous deal and on arrival couldn't believe our luck. The hotel, is so comfortable, clean and welcoming. The staff were lovely. Beautifully furnished rooms, not typical of basic ski hotels or chalets at all. They were carpeted, furnished proper hotel rooms....

WE were at the Daniella for 10 days at the start of December, family of 4 with 10 and 12 year old boys. Staff were wonderful, always friendly and helpful - even gave my wife a birthday cake on her birthday. We had a family room on 2 floors which was spacious and great for the family. The half board...

Extremely helpful staff. Comfortable beds, quiet rooms, spotlessly clean throughout, breakfast buffet with plenty of options, cozy hotel lounge, perfect location halfway between train station and Zermatt gondola. Can't wait to go back when I have more time to spend. There is not enough I can say about this place.

We visited the hotel at the end of October together with my wife & one of my friend. We booked a family room which was 2 separate room at the end. After arriving to Zermatt the hotel has organized for us a golf cab to pick up us at the railway station (Zermatt is a car-free area). It took around...

Highly recommended for this hotel as it provides good service, clean room with nice decoration! Staff are helpful and friendly. Location is great with short walking distance to train station/cable car station. Last but not least, breakfast is very nice and it has many choices. Stay here for two nights without complaints.

We visited this hotel late September. Friendly staff speaks English. Maps and mountain viewing recommendations were provided to us when we arrived. Coffee and tea is always available in the lobby however, it is always more comfortable to have it in the room where we can relax in private and make it when we want. We stayed in the simply...

When I booked this hotel, I agreed to pay extra for a third floor room with a view of the Matterhorn. Standing on the right side of our small deck outside the room, I could see the top of the Matterhorn over the rooftops. The room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was average and nothing special. . The staff...

Zermatt was like Las Vegas, u'll find everything u need on its main stip, so it's not really much matter how close the hotel is from the station. Besides, three routes to Matterhorn starts from three separate individual stations. Daniela is located around the center of these three, so it's pretty much easier to go to any one of them...

I have visited zermatt at least 30+times in summer and Daniela was one of the best stays. The single room was about 200 square feet plus balcony updated cheerful and had excellent lighting. Enjoyed the high quality breakfast . Excellent coffee pastries and fruit were available all day and appreciated after vigorous hiking: so nice not to have to stop...

This is a very special hotel run by a kind, warm & generous family and fabulous staff. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the trek to their Black Nose Sheep and the fantastic spa in their sister hotel, Hotel Alpenhof. Our room was spacious and beautiful, with a charming balcony overlooking the bustling street and breakfast was...
