Pros: Simple, Clean and neat. The breakfast was good. Situated near the railway station. Room is cleaned everyday and the staff is good. Super market just opposite to the hotel. Free Wifi Cons: Free Wifi is available only in the reception hall (not in your room) Knowing only English(full of Sion!) is a sort difficult to manage. French, German(?) is...

The staff is very nice, but if there is a problem with your room, you may be charged for the cost of fixing it, no matter what you have or haven't done. I have never been treated in such a shameful manner by any hotel anywhere, and I have visited dozens. The owner of the hotel had the audacity of...

Our room was on the second floor with views over mountains and vineyards. A smallish, well-run hotel just a short walk from the railway station. The tariff was very reasonable and included a buffet breakfast which should satisfy most tastes. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, which we didn't use and therefore can't comment on, but from our observation...

Really simple room, 2 uncomfortable single beds passed off as a double, (always enfuriates us). Breakfast looked like it had been sat there for a couple of days and waited 10 minutes to get a coffee. For 130 bucks you can find better, even if it is Switzerland

I just spent two nights at the Hotel Elite and must say I'm pretty satisfied: clean and freshly renovated with just everything I needed: comfy bed, clean linens, warm bathroom TV and mini-fridge. I haven't tried the breakfast, but there's quite a few nice cafés in the old town!

Even professional photos show rooms can be cramped - my bruises mark bangs into bed corner. Bathroom 'unit' is really, really compact - sit on the loo and knees touch the door. To shower in comfort, you would need to be small and thin. On arrival I checked matress and found both duvet covers were quite damp, not just un-aired...

We went to Sion to meet some friends for a trip to Zermatt & Gornergrat. This hotel is a good basic clean hotel. A very student accomodation kind of place. There is no air con & no fan in the room. Also no fridge, kettle or safe. It was July and we had to open the windows to sleep. Trouble...

We stayed at Hotel Elite for 3 nights in September, and had a great time exploring the city and it's lovely surroundings. The owners were very nice. They speak English very well and were helpful and friendly. The hotel is located right across the street form a Manor department store that sells clothing, groceries and souvenirs. Sion is a small...

We were budget travellers and needed good rooms with all comforts but not too expensive. The Hotel Elite didn't fail us. Everything was as it should be. It is definately not a three star hotel. The only difference for us between a three star and the Hotel Elite was that it is not modern and smart. Instead, it has an...

“Rooms at the rear have a mountain view and are larger than those at the front, which have a street view. Only the back rooms at either end of the hotel have balconies - e.g. 31 & 36. Central ones do not. Balconied rooms are the ones to go for..”
