We stayed at Roi Du Soleil over the ski break in February. There were 600 guests of which about a third were kids. This hotel is not equipped to host this many guests and our experience was not that great compared to other club meds. 3 out of our party of 7 got sick but there were no medical staff...

Last year it was in Chamonix. This year we chose St Moritz due to the language. It was much easier... Everybody speak English, a lot speak italian, much better than in France... The hotel is very clean, staff very, very kind. Our daughter (5 yrs) stayed the whole day (from 9 am to 5 pm) at the Mini Club. She...

The 1970s building shows its age - and has many limitations compared to the Club Med renovated grand palais at Chamonix and Villars - in particular the ski room and dining room are cramped and overcrowded, and there is no outdoor seating to speak of. However the Club Med formula still works well and is excellent value for money. Anybody...

I have just returned from a week's skiing with a group of friends at Club Med's Roi Soleil and can endorse the good reviews and (and minor niggles) of last year. We have skied with CM for a numbers of years at different resorts. If you like the CM formula, and to some it is an acquired taste, then this...

I , like many others, use trip advisor regularly for comments on hotels etc and after my husband and extended family decided we were skiing in st Moritz I was horrified to find so many poor reviews on the club med there. I was uncertain as to whether we had done the right thing by booking to stay there....we are...

Have just come back from skiing in the St Moritz area and staying at the Roi Soleil. I note that it has had mixed reviews and our total experience was very positive. Having spent many winter and summer holidays with Club Med, this hotel did not fair worse than other CM hotels. What it offers is fantastic value for money,...

We have stayed in Club Med for our European skiing holidays before, and were very happy about the experiences. Before I made reservation for this year's skiing trip, I did consult this website about Roi soleil, which the comments are so mixed, I did not have any certain expectation. But as soon as we turned up at the train station...

We (3 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 aged 12) have just returned from a week at Club Med in St. Moritz and felt I had to review it because of the previous poor reviews which I felt were unneccessarily harsh. I have skied a lot over the years and for the last 5 with Club Med in Cervinia, La Plagne...

My husband and I stayed at Club Med in January for a week of skiing with a group. We had stayed at several Club Meds before so knew what to expect. I had not looked up the rating of this one and was surprised when I just read other reviews that said it was a 4 Trident. I would have...
