The hotel is in an great location as we could walk to the lake, restaurants, shops, museum, funicular & train station. Our beautiful room was very clean & comfortable with lovely furnishings and had an amazing view of the lake & mountains. The staff were super nice and helpful. The bar area was charming & relaxing. We stayed for a long weekend in St Moritz in the summertime. The whole town was very quiet and a number of places were closed until the winter. We picked the Soldanella for its excellent location within walking distance of all the main attractions in St Moritz. The room we picked was with a lakeside view and the views were...

The hotel was part of an old traditional building and it was very delightful. Check-in was easy and it brings you to a time forgotten with morden facilities. When you open the front door, a warm embrace of vanilla scent fills the air, very nice to have in winter! The breakfast was amazing! There was no bacon (not an American...

We visited St Moritz and stayed at the Hotel Soldanella this September. Great location and not too far from the Railway station. Since we had stayed there for 2 nights we got a pass each which allowed us free transport to all buses and trains. Pass also included visits to Engadin, Diavolezza, Muottas Muragl and Corvatsch free of charge.

A bit of a walk from the train station, but busses are available. The hotel and some rooms have a view of Lake St. Moritz. The lake itself has a nice walking path all the way around it. We had wonderful breakfasts and dinners at the hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Small bathroom, but that is normal for...

twowheeltours spent two nights at Soldanella during the Haute Route Dolomites 2015 event. This is the second time we have stayed at the hotel. It was great to see familiar faces when we checked in and at the restaurant. The rooms have fantastic views, the beds are very comfortable and the two dinners we had were superb! We highly recommend...

The rooms were large for Switzerland. The view of the lake and mountains was better than a postcard. The breakfast was very good in an amazing dining room. The cable car pass that came with the room sure saved us money. Only problem is the wifi was almost worthless

Stayed at this hotel as a part of the Bernina Express Package. The hotel was well kept with rustic styling. The staff were very nice and helpful. We also ate at the restaurant one night which was also excellent. Also have a drink in the bar, its cozy and has a nice view.

We loved our stay at the Soldanella. The location is ideal, a few minutes from the center. As we booked a room via a lake view, it was very quiet, very spacious with a huge bathroom, and boy! what a view. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. The big bonus was the free pass for the gondolas...

St Moritz is an expensive place. Ok. We know that. Yet we would have expected at least a decent hotel and good facilities for the price (252CHF). The only good point was a nice lake view from our room. Old building: you can hear other clients walking in the room above and talking in the rooms around... Yet if sound...
