We stayed at hotel Monopol for one night during Dec 2010 as enroute to our scenic train journey on the Glazier Express. We booked Double Room via Otel.com for 300 Euro's which included breakfast. This is the first time we have used this hotel booking system as it had cheaper rates then Hotel.com The hotel exceeded our expectations as we...

There were stairs at every entrance. In most places had to climb at least 15 stairs to get to lobby. Once you get to the lobby there is an elevator that goes to dining room and all hotel rooms. The elevator is quite narrow and a wide wheelchair (if it got to the lobby) might have a problem with the...

many years a regular, I do love the friendliness of the staff and the overall quality! Right downtown, in the middle of St. Moritz, two minutes from Corviglia! Great!

We stayed at the Hotel in December, specially to learn how to Ski. The hotel staff is good. ITs a European Hotel, so the staff is limited but helpful. The rooms are old fashioned but clean. The breakfast etc is Average based on the over all charges but again nothing to complaint about, the staff is friendly. They had good...

The hotel is situated in the semi-pedestrianised area of St Moritz, close to the funicular station for the Corviglia and the buses for the Corvatsch and e surrounding area. Worth using the local transport system if you receive the Engadin card when you check in. We had a corner romm with good views over the town - it was a...

We stayed at the Monopol for a long ski weekend. The service was fantastic! We got an unexpected room upgrade, which is of course a great start. But also otherwise the hotel was super. NIce and cosy breakfast, great Spa, very friendly staff. But the best part of it was yet to come - I had asked the hotel in...

We arrived in St. Moritz by train from Zurich. The hotel advertises that they will pick you up at the train station so when we arrived I was looking for a phone to call the hotel. I found the Monopol van and driver who apparently meets trains every day to pick up hotel guests. He put our luggage in the...

Reception staff we on the ball from the moment we called them from the station and we were picked up within 5 minutes. When we got there they gave us all the information we needed and arranged to have our luggage picked...

My 13-year-old son and I stayed one night at this hotel on June 2011. The room was small but clean. The bed, toilet were fairly good. There were two things I didn't like: 1. We didn't have WiFi in the room. 2. Our room was near a bell tower. The chime sounds good from distant, but may become annoying if...

Probably the best 4 star hotel I have ever stayed in. From the pickup at the station, to the welcome at reception and inviting hotel bar, the staff were an mixture of warmth, friendliness and efficiency. Downstairs restaurant missed out on the views afforded the top floor sauna and lounge area, otherwise this hotel was perfect. Food was excellent and...
