Our hotel is majestically situated in the middle of a park in a most beautiful and tranquil location just above the village centre of Wengen. Views of the Jungfrau an surrounding Alps are breathtaking. The village centre and the mountain railway station can be easily reached on foot. In less than a few minutes, you can be hovering over the "Mannlichen-Kleine-Scheidegg" ski an hiking paradise on the Wengen-Mannlichen cable car.

The hotel's cleanliness is widely recognized, with guests noting immaculate rooms and facilities. A beautiful setting, gorgeous windows with spectacular views over mountains and the village of Wengen, modern bathrooms in keeping with the old-world charm of the building. What we loved was the attention shown by the owners, the well trained and attentive staff particularly in the dinning room. The food was a huge surprise. We were expecting "mountain food" when it advertised "half board". It was in fact silver-service, 6 course dinners with choices and never a repeat even though we stayed for 9 nights. The breakfasts were a buffet off the scale. Just as well the weather played its part and we were able to ski & exercise a lot. Our departing train was 6.15am & this was not too much trouble. The hosts packed a breakfast for us and drove us to the train station. Truely one of the most incredible places for service.

My husband and I stayed here during a ski weekend in Wengen. What a gem! The hotel is a perfect blend of modern amenities with Swiss rustic charm. Every single staff member we interacted with was kind, welcoming, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and multi-lingual. We were only there for a weekend but we were immediately made to feel like we had been guests here for years. I also highly recommend the half-board offer (dinners at the hotel). My husband and I have lived and travelled in Switzerland and we both agreed that it was the best value we have ever had. A delicious 5-course meal for what is usually the price of a bratwurst and a beer in Switzerland! Lastly, I encourage you to go in their hut tub. It's the first I have ever been in that has a wonderful essential oil smell instead of chlorine (the same for their spa showers) in addition to a stunning view of the mountains. Should you decided to stay here, remember that they offer a free shuttle service between the train station and the hotel so don't bother carting your luggage up the hill to their place like we did! We hope to visit there again in the future and we told all our friends in Zurich about it.

This hotel is purely expensive cause in case you have good weather you could enjoy the views if you stay in your room. So unless you plan to stay a lot in your room or use the spa facilities you should consider cheaper options who also offer the most important services such as a shuttle service from train station to hotel. If you plan to visit in winter book it only if you are sure of good weather ahead or else there is no particular view. We had booked a Junior suite for Eur500 a night and the furniture was outdated and our request to have 1 piece double mattress was ignored even though it was promised to us on bookin.com, so we had 2 single mattress with a gap in the middle, very annoying. Bathroom products are of good quality and a bath robes and slippers were provided (I consider these as basics). The room was supplied with only teas, no coffee and an empty fridge as you have to work for it. You call reception and ask them what they offer and will bring it to your room. In the end we decided to buy everything ourselves from the market. This hotel is pet friendly and we paid Eur25 per night for him but we were still not allowed in the restaurant and we were given the option to use the reception are of the restaurant instead which luckily was also comfortable. However they did prepare a blanket for our dog and bowls in our room. What annoys us is the inhouse policy as if guests with pets have germs or something while kids touching food at the buffet was allowed. The buffet was really of good quality, a chef making fresh omelette for you daily with a great selection of juices and teas. I am a pancake person and their pancakes however were not soft of fluffy at all so I opted for omelette and other options. Thanks to the staff who were always fast to help and try to make our stay as pleasant as possible but I would consider a cheaper option next time.

This is my 2nd time to Switzerland, and this time we chose Wengen. The hotel surpass my expectation, their service, wonderful food, facilities, big room with balcony and separate room for kid, gorgeous view and EVERYTHING.
We also enjoy the hot jacuzzi, pool with snow view and sauna. The location is excellen, 5-10 minutes walking distance to main shopping street area, not far from ski school and have few different routes with beautiful view to go the ski area/cable car. this is the best place to learn snowboard/ski with Swiss village vibe. We definitely will come again and make it 2 weeks stay next time. Thanks again to Beausite team from the owner and all the staff, very warm and friendly. We also get to know other guests, and they give us good tips and they have known Beausite team when they small and keep visiting for 31 years, and this tell it all, top notch service! We really love our stay very much. Don't think twice, just choose this hotel for your stay and book room overlooking the Jungfrau view.

This was our fourth time staying at the Beausite Park hotel and it was as wonderful as always. The owners and staff all work hard to make you feel so very welcome; it makes for such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The food remains a highlight of the experience, both breakfasts and dinners. The quality of the ingredients and the inventiveness of the chefs make for a delicious fine dining experience. Our room was beautifully presented and the bed and pillows so comfortable that I wish I could take them home with me. I love coming back to the hotel after a full day on the ski slopes knowing I can relax in the pool and then by the fire before dinner. This time friends came with us and I know they want to return again next year. We will certainly be coming back for a fifth time!

This was our second time in Wengen, and it's still one of the most magical places on Earth. Beausite is located all the way up the hotel (which I didn't realize when I booked it). We had a bit of trouble getting up there with all our luggage and stroller (and didn't realize the shuttle will pick you up when you arrive), but you get used to it quickly. We paid extra for a mountain view, and it is totally worth it. We had the most amazing view from our family suite, which included a room for the two children and a room for the adults. The pool and dining room also have this amazing view. The staff are super friendly and accommodating and always come to check on you.

I give it 4 stars because the hot water is a problem. We had the water completely stop several times and when it came back, it was scalding hot. Not great when you're covered in shampoo. But I get the hotel is on top of a mountain so maybe this is expected. Still, when you are paying that much for a hotel, you hope the hot water will function properly. The food we found to be so-so - the breakfasts were plentiful and the dinners were solid but not spectacular.

We were planning a trip to Switzerland and a friend recommended Wengen. We wanted a hotel with Covid precautions, spacious rooms, hot tub, and good views. We hit the jackpot with Beausite Park Hotel. What a wonderful breakfast buffet, good coffee, le pain au chocolat, and eggs made to order. The servers were very friendly and all wore face coverings so we felt comfortable during these times of the virus. Our room was quite large and had a huge closet with lots of shelves and hangers. The bathroom appeared recently remodeled and loved the towel warmer. We had a small but really nice sitting area and we often had snacks on the balcony because the view was out of this world beautiful. The owner came around at dinner one night and welcomed us to his "home". Very thoughtful. The hot tub wasn't crowded. Service from the train station upon arrival and departure is included. It is a car free town so any other shuttles are $10. We walked everywhere but if you have trouble walking, keep in mind the hotel is at the top of a hill. Highly recommend the Beausite for its hospitality and views.

My wife and myself have just returned from a 4 night stay at Park Hotel Wengen which was paradise. The hotel is run by the family ensuring that every guest is personally looked after. We stayed in a newly refurbished room with a beautiful view over the Jungfrau. Breakfasts were divine with everything homemade from bread to jam and freshly squeezed orange juice. Dinner was a 5 course delight and on one night there was a starter buffet and on another a main course buffet with all sorts of Swiss dishes that were amazing and tasty. If on the days there was no buffet, and one didn't like the choices on the menu, the hotel would cook you something of your choice.
Hotel had a lovely spa and swimming pool and though no resident beauty therapist there was one on call by appointment.
Hotel is beautifully situated just a short walk from the village centre.
Skiing in Wengen is mainly intermediate skiing though it is interlinked with Grindelwald and is really one skiing area, and you can also ski in Murren which is 40 minutes away. If you want extensive skking with many black runs then you should head for the French ski resorts but this is perfect for family skiing and plenty of walks. Very picturesque village

Would rate hotel top marks for food, cleanliness, friendliness of staff and accommodation. The lady owner ensures the hotel caters for all the guests requirements.
We will be back next year. A final testament to the hotel is that most of the guests return year after year.

My wife and I visited this hotel in Wengen for a ski trip only last week, and as it turned out it was also the last week of skiing in the resort, everything now closed this week.Where to start? A minor problem with the heating in our room was quickly resolved by Eric, the son of the owner of the property. Our stay was flawless from then on.A lovely family sized room afforded us a view of the Jungfrau from our balcony(room 212).The food in the restaurant was five stars as was the service from the obviously well trained and attentive staff.Alternatives from the menu were always available from the chef, and a vegetarian option,as well as a meat or a fish dish were the usual choices in the evening.Breakfast was an extensive buffet with fresh ingredients and impeccably laid out.Special mention to the chef whose scrambled eggs in the morning were the best we have ever tasted!Mention must go to the lady pianist who played throughout dinner most nights-a lovely selection of music perfectly in tune with the atmosphere and ambiance of the hotel.A boot room for skis etc sits beneath the hotel keeping our equipment dry overnight. It is a bit of a walk down the hill at the beginning of the day to the gondola, and back up again in the afternoon, but it allowed us to stretch our legs and a lift back in the hotels electric van is always an option on request. The spa area is very good, with a large indoor pool, sauna and steam area, etc. The owner,Mrs Lemann(?) was ever-present,mornings and evenings, making sure everything runs smoothly for the guests, but not in an intrusive way.Her son Eric also kept things running smoothly day to day.A lovely hotel for a week of skiing, such a pity that the season has finished early,we would definately stay there again if we return to Wengen, thanks to all who made our stay such a pleasant one!Thank you!

I have stayed in many (hundreds of) hotels but rarely received such excellent service as in Beausite Park Hotel. It was my first visit there and all staff went out of their way to attend to the guests. The hotel is family-run and seems to be very well managed. In addition, the view from the rooms is a dream, the food excellent (we booked four nights with 5-course meals each evening), and the location very quiet and peaceful. Find out for yourselves!

Good question they have a piano in the bar I believe but in a week no one played it and no one was in the bar at night older clientele go to bed early ps get one of the 3 rooms on the end to the right when looking at hotel straight on better views and no neighbors on that side plus you hear they’re little waterfall, they are on 4,5 and 6 floor higher up the better we were on 4.

Certainly not every night. They often had a local accordionist once a week to tie in with the Swiss buffet on the terrace in the summer if you like that sort of thing!

Yes, one of their vehicles will meet you off the train and take you and your baggage to the hotel. Let them know which train up from Lauterbrunnen you'll be catching. Same when you leave. They will also offer a taxi to and from town during your stay for a small fee. It takes 10 mins to walk.
