We would like to thank the staff of the hotel regina restaurant. Reyer and zita and also another blond guy with glasses( we sadly forgot his name I think he is german) they were all so caring and sweet!we couldn t find enough rooms to rent during our stay but at least we could visit the restaurant. If u miss that retro feeling of an old charming hotel with a lot of history, parquet floor and retro posters reminding u of the belle epoque then you have chosen the right place. The menu is short but SO tasty and great. In case there is an apple sorbet go for it! The soup is also fantastic! Thank you for making our stay so interesting and give us a story to tell. The management should really be proud having such great staff. PS the water on the table is mineral water coming from the village and is for free. …
We stayed at Hotel Regina for four nights. The shared bathroom/showers were close and very clean. The showers were newer and great. The hotel itself is old, but adequate, and the views (on the view side) can't be beat. The Internet is not available in the room, but this forced us to go to the community room which was comfortable and quaint with a great view. The breakfast is more than adequate with lots of choices. Great coffee machine. The only caveat I would include is to not share a bed. You will feel every little movement of your partner. We ended up having to ask the management to bring us a separate mattress, which we put on the floor and were fine with that.
Older hotel with only some refurbishment. Worth staying if it fits your price range. Goods: Relatively inexpensive for Murran. Our room was large with a balcony that provided an amazing view of the valley and mountains. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was great...unlimited cereal, bread, juice, cold cuts, cheese, tea, and coffee. Terrace serving drinks and limited menu. Central location. Good restaurant across the street and market next door. Others: You get what you pay for. No in-room maid service. Self-service replacement of towels and bedding. Room had sink but our hot-water faucet provided only a trickle. One electrical outlet for entire room. Wi-fi was weak and intermittent in room; stronger in ground floor common areas. Separate toilet and co-ed shower (separate stalls) down the hall. Showers had been modernized with plenty of hot water and hair dryers.…
This place is real delight. Kind of old fashioned but in a charming way. No televisions in the bedrooms and antique bathroom fittings. Helpful staff and tasty meals including a recommended fondue. Near to ski-hire shops and ski lifts. Every room has an amazing view of the magnificent mountains. The hotel is owned and run by a consortium of friends that wanted the Regina to keep its authentic style, decor and service.
Quirky and interesting place to stay. My clean simple room had wonderful views. Staff friendly and helpful. Super breakfast. (I did not have evening meal so no comment). Very central and convenient for skiing. Great energy with lots of children during my stay. Will definitely visit again.
