This chalet hotel is a true discovery with its unique sun terrace next to the ski slope heading down the valley, hiking passes on the doorstep and delightful, typically Swiss details to its interior. In the year 2012 a suite annex, together with a wellness area with outdoor whirlpool, were built and the hotel was completely renovated. This modern house in a rustic, chalet style puts importance on uncomplicated and innovative mountain tourism with close ties

I don't think the rooms are air conditioned as it is usually quite cold, and you are more likely to require a heater, which they do have. Even in summer, temperatures at night can go down to around 12 degrees, maybe even lower. If you like the cold you could tilt your window open - this is a special function that maintains security of a locked window but allows air to come in. There is also the additional protection of wooden shutters that can also help regulate temperature. I sleep in air condition all the time but never needed it when there at all! It's colder then air oon at night and pleasant through the day.

I'm not sure if all room configurations are the same but I believe all have balconies. You either get a view of the Eiger or the Grindelwald valley with mountain range behind. Both beautiful. Ive stayed in the family room ( for 4) as well as couple room. The food is great, the view is great the spa too! Enjoy your stay.
