Good location on the main street just in front of the bus station Food is good as anywhere in Switzerland. Not cheap though for a quick bite lunch. It is part of a hotel and the place is frequented by non hotel guests as well

We went there for 2 consecutive nights, as the food and experience there was so great. We ordered different salads and main dishes, including lamb, veal and steak. The food quality is very good. Staff is nice and helpful. We can't stop and ordered dessert as well. We are crepe and apfelstrudel and both are very delicious. Definitely will go...

Hotel location is very good. Right beside the SBB station. We got a side by side 2 bedroom room. Rooms are very small. Even though tea/coffee maker is not included, hotel gave us an electric kettle to make tea.

Location is great - within a block of the train and bus station, across the street from the sports complex, down the street to the gondola to the top of First. Medium sized room is pretty good. Great updated bathroom, the rest could use some freshening. Breakfast was good - could use a toaster. The hotel restaurant is quite good...

My husband and I stayed here this month for three nights. The location is great - liternally a block from the train station. There is a great little patio out front on the main drag so catching a meal or afternoon beverage is perfect for people watching. The hotel has a solid restaurant and great staff and wait staff. The...

My wife and kids ( 9 & 12 years) are currently staying at the hotel. We have adjoining rooms with the bathroom in between. The rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast is supplied and all you could ask for. The price is reasonable. The hotel is right in the centre of Grindelwald and a very short walk to the train...

We dropped into the restaurant of this hotel after some exhaustive walking in the nearby mountains. The menu, by their own admission, is limited for food but we were happy to just have the bratwurst with fries. It was erved with an onion gravy that was really tasty - enough fries to feed an army. The service was really nice...

It was less than 100 a night which is quite cheap for Switzerland. That is why 4 stars. Everything in my room was quite old but clean and I slept well. Breakfast was not super fancy but I enjoyed it a lot.

We booked this hotel because of it's one of the cheapest and still located very near to the train station. The owner also ensured us that they have a water boiler in the room so that we can make hot drinks in this cold region. Upon arrival, we notice that there is NO receptionist. We have to ring the bell...
