I stayed here for a couple of days in sept, had parking across the street which was nice. Room was the typical small rooms but it was nice and quiet. I didnt test the breakfast because i was out of there early each morning.

Frustrating stay because the 3 bedroom apartment we rented was updated nicely. Chalet #226. Kind of modern, not your typical Alpine decor, ample sized rooms. All floors are ceramic tile or wood laminate so everything echoes. Badly. But what I just couldn't get over was the fact that you couldn't access the wifi unless you were in the lobby/office area....

This hotel is fairly close to the train station, and is certainly within walking distance, particularly if your luggage has wheels. Our room was on the first floor and extremely large, with a very large balcony (which was somewhat strange in that it was accessible by the library (public space) and the other room on the first floor, with only half...

This hotel is right along the main road in Grindelwald, so it is handy to everything including the train station up to Jungfraujoch and the gondola to First. The hotel was clean and pretty, and the rooms were nice. The bathroom included a bathtub and was clean. Unfortunately there was no wifi in the rooms - only in the restaurant...

Last year we stayed in the Bernerhof Hotel, which was nice, but they did not know how to handle ultra marathon runners. The Hotel Hirschen was not only cheaper, but more modern than the Bernerhof. They were prepared for the runners and had a breakfast buffet ready from 3am for those running the Eiger Ultra Trail. On the Sunday we...

It was a good novelty to have the large bath tub in the room, they provided bath salts so it was a great way to end the day. The room was huge and the bathroom floor was heated. The mountain views could only be seen if you walked out on to the balcony, and they were excellent views! Breakfast selection...

Hirschen is a great hotel. Central location and it's proximity to First Bahn is great. We've stayed in the love room which comes with a romantic tub. The hotel lacks a hot tub so if you're looking for a treat, i'd recommend the love room with its own tub. (It's not a jakuzzi but still a comfortable tub) The staff...

Where do I begin? This apartment is tailor made for you if you are travelling in a group of 4-5 people. Let me begin with the kitchen. Very. very well stocked. The living rooms has a large and comfy couch on which two people could sleep comfortably, and on the other side is a family dining table, not to mention...

We selected this hotel for our New Years ski trip based on the trip advisor reviews touting its excellent location and great value. Once again, trip advisor did not lead us astray. The location is fantastic! Extremely central. The bus stop is just one building away and the gondola for First couldn't be more than a three-minute walk. Very easy...
