We bought grocery from the street across and cooked our own food in the kitchen of the lodge and had a hearty meal suiting to our indian taste buds. the staff is helpful and polite. Loved the kitchen and the common areas. we were 3 of us. we had...

1 night stay with a family of 3 including one toddler, really the best location under the majestic Eiger mountain. You see it straight up from your window in Lodge 4! Late check-in was made very smooth by Simon and an early check-out with a delicious breakfast was made possible by Marsiles. Staff is very polite and courteous and try...

We were just the two of us and stayed in this Lodge for 4 nights around July 2015. The views from the windows was amazing. Waking up to the sun Shining directly on the Peak and lighting it up was awesome. The rooms are clean and cosy. Breakfast was good, with local Cheese offerings. And when you are on a...

I stay there every year. The rooms are simple but sufficient. There is a lot of space, you can sit outside and look at the Eiger north face. It has an international atmosphere. A well equipped kitchen for all the guests. The price is fair and the staff is friendly.

We visited last weekend for a ski-weekend with friends. The accommodations are simply what you need with friendly and helpful staff. Compared to the pricier options around Downtown lodge is a great value. Breakfast was simple but perfect to get the day going. The dining area / bar & games are also nice for Apres-Ski but not opened too late....

After coming here since around 5 years, its still the same friendly staff. The lodge is very basic, dorm rooms, and especially in winter quite pricy. The rooms are small, the bed good, and the breakfast excellent. parking available :-) Good place to come, but not a cheap one

I've stayed there twice. The staff is really nice, the location si week centered and the price is appealing. Definitely recommending it for groups, maybe not for elderly group or families as it's quite noisy.

We stayed at the Lodge with a group of almost 40 high school students, and we had a fantastic time. The Lodge is perfectly equipped to receive groups like ours, everything the kids could wish for was there: WIFI, billiard, table Football, even video games and movies…… But most of all, I would like to point out the staff of...

We stayed for 4 nights after Christmas. The staff were really nice but this place has a big noise issue. Lots of groups of really drunk and inconsiderate people who partied on all night in bedroom areas with no regard for other residents who might want a little bit of sleep at some point of the night. Polite requests to...

I felt like I was at an American YMCA camp, which is fine. The staff at the Downtown Lodge were extremely helpful. Everyone spoke flawless English. The breakfast was meek, but was something. I was here at the end of October 2014, the beginning of the low season, so the hostel was nice and quiet. For a charge, the receptionist...
