Simple and cheap accommodation in a modern and spacious building. We stayed for 2 nights in a room with two beds, a shower and a toilet. Quiet location, just 5 mins walk from Saanen center and train station. Breakfast is a self service buffet. Ideally suited for families and small children.

Our first visit to the new hostel. No creaking floor boards any more and much larger but still lovely. Diago and his team looked after us very well and we ate half board for most of our stay. Great to have food available after a hard days skiing! Great room with ensuite and fast wifi. Sannnen has really become a...

Thanks for having us. We were on a bike tour through Switzerland from east to west and arrived on our fourth day late at this hostel. Well, what a welcome, what a service!! Exceptional. Clean, new, modern and trendy place. High level of design and economical focus. Good breakfast and location. Table tennis and soccer, chilly multimedia room. They even...

This was a really good find. It's very good value in an expensive country and area. We stayed as a family and we took two double rooms( one was rearranged as a twin) which had private shower rooms /toilets. Not just clean and tidy but modern and good quality materials...this is switzerland! What is lovely about this place is the...

The new Gstaad Saanenland (Youth) Hostel is a gem: The building is a modern interpretation of a Chalet and blends in well with the neighbouring hotel Spitzhorn. Welcome by the Staff is friendly. The common area is generously lit and uncramped. There is a lift to all floors. We occupied a double room with own shower and toilet. The colouring...

We had a private double room with private bath. The hostel was full of families and older couples. Hostels are no longer just an inexpensive way for young people...

This stands out for its design and choice of materials - contemporary and functional while fully in keeping with alpine profiles and construction. The hostel had reopened after complete rebuild just before we were there. The ground floor has large, stylish wooden tables and lounge spaces, with a deck at the front catching the sun and looking to the mountains....

This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a more cost-effective option in a quiet Swiss village. Everything was well taken care of, beautiful, and quiet. Free WiFi. Just keep in mind that they do not include a breakfast -- you have to pay extra! Definitely recommended!

My wife and I stayed with our four children at the Youth Hostel in Saanen-Gstaad. Rooms were clean, the hotel was quite, and the staff were very helpful. A good alternative to more expensive inns in the area.
