We loved everything about this small hotel in Solothurn. It is located at the edge of the pedestrian old town center. To reach the hotel from the old town you walk alongside the fantastic Landhaus quai by the Aare river, stop in a couple of trendy and quaint bars and restaurants, cross the Wengi Bridge and 200 m straight ahead...

This is an excellent base in Solothurn: a few minutes walk from the station, close to the river and s short walk across a bridge to the old town. Professional efficiency added to a large cpmfortable room made for a fine stay. The breakfast was notable for fine breads and local jams and cheese. Excellent new plumbing and very helpful...

Stayed here for one night in November. It's a beautiful approximately 400 year old building that has been renovated, lacks a bit of style and character as the furniture, although modern, is a tad average. We had a very friendly, competent and professional welcome at reception, our room was clean comfortable and very quiet, which was what we asked for,...

This hotel has true character. The building has some nice historical features and the hotel is conveniently located (close to city center, parking and train station). The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was not luxurious, but it was clean and had everything you needed (including bath, writing desk and a good mattress). I loved the breakfast, not...

Originally I wanted to book another hotel but as that one was booked out I "needed" to stay here which was lucky for me.The 400 years old building is full of character and the service is great. The room is massive compared to other hotels where you feel you can't turn around and the mattress makes you sleep very deeply...

First of all reassuring that the service was extremely friendly. The room was simple, clean and functional. Hotel has a very good internet connection. My room was on the first floor and since it was summer I tried to sleep with an open window, but the street was a bit loud. The breakfast was of high quality. Price is according...

I stayed here for 4 nights on a business trip, spent the last night at the Ramada. Interesting contrast. This is a very unassuming place in an old building, not modern like the Ramada. On the other hand, the room was twice as big, at half the cost, plus they give you breakfast. It is nothing elaborate, but it also...

This is the place to stay. Very friendly Hotel owners, absolute clean Hotel, very old house but absolute nice, moderne renovated. Uncomplicated and friendly people. In 5min. you can reach the most nice places in Solothurn. FYI: no elevator and very nice bio breakfast (small but good).

many details are well pampered at this place, e.g. proper shower gel/shampoo instead of the jelly out of dispensers, excellent beds and many more details you would only expect in an upper class hotel; proximity to railway is a bit of an issue when sleeping with open windows
