My husband and I stayed in this hotel for one night on our 1 week stay in Switzerland. I chose this hotel specifically because of the great reviews it received on Tripadvisor. The price was significantly more than we normally spend per night, however all hotels in Lucerne were expensive so I figured we would splurge for this one night...

You choose this hotel for the wonderful rooms! We had a large corner room with huge windows. A very nice bathtub at the window in the bathroom! Only minus was problem with aircon. Good service and nice restaurant. Very good breakfast with excellent service.

The hotel did live up to my expectations. Hard to fault anything with our stay. Found the room to be cozy and romantic. The hotel was a little pricey but so are all hotels in switzerland.

The Hotel was a spot I'd been looking fwd to trying for over a year by the time I got there. Overall, it met my expectations. Staff were wonderful - very knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. Rooms are quirky and fun in a good way. Location is perfect. I found this hotel to be convenient to everything. Restaurant was a bit...

Spent 3 nights in room 5501 (a Garden Suite) this past autumn. Was very satisfied with the quality of service, attention to detail, location, room size, and restaurant (both breakfast and dinner). Then there's the style, ultra-modern and hip. Love it or hate it, the striking contrast it creates with the historic buildings of Luzern undoubtedly leaves a lasting impression....

a design hotel that looked promising on the way back from Italy. Designed by Nouvel. We found the hotel in the centre of the city in a, what seemed at first sight, nice neighborhood. The hotel has well equipped modern rooms (although we didn't got airco - open the windows, they said ...) )with nice wooden floors and paintings on...

Tiny room , it was so dark and gloomy even with all lights on full. Steel furnishings and two faces looking down from the ceiling art, we felt that we were in a cell or mad house. Other than the steel cube wardrobe there was nowhere to store clothes The stairs and narrow corridors are all painted black. As we...

Loved the hotel! Great location. Ultra modern and unique but very tasteful. Staff/service was excellent. Bam Bou restaurant was incredible! Food was so good we couldn't get ourselves to eat anywhere else and so we ate there nightly!!! Kudos to Chef Ted Espiritu! This place is a gem! Will definitely return.

I had high hopes for this hotel before we arrived. My hopes were dashed once we saw the ‘junior suite’ we had booked. This is an example of a design hotel gone mad. Our room was dark, a depressing and small corridor of about 25 square meters with a single large window at one end and a dark bathroom at...

Great place in terms of location, service, decor and ambience. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The theme of the hotel is very interesting and engulfs a new concept. The hotel offers very contemporary ideas and offers a new experience to hotel stays. The experence at the breakfast table was totally new and very different to a typical hotel buffet conceptually....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel is a unique establishment exuding charm and charisma in Lucerne Switzerland. No two guest rooms are alike – and each has a tale to tell. They lean away from the familiar and the everyday. The art lies not so much in what is included but in what is left out. Guests are invited to abandon themselves to the inspirational poetry which characterises this sense-awakening boutique deluxe hotel. ... more   less
