For my business trip in Geneva, I stayed in a private room with TV for five nights at City Hostel Geneva. For a price of an AirBnB accommodation, I was pleasantly surprised. It is centrally located, very near the tram station. Coffee shops, grocery stores, cash exchange stations are available nearby. The hostel is very well maintained, my room was... More

I booked for a single room. This was the best value for money that I found in Geneva. The room was very modest, but with water sink inside. Toilets and showers are plentiful and are located in corridors. There are no breakfasts in the hotel, but there are 3 big supermarkets in the main street. The staff was very friendly... More

First things first... Geneva is expensive. So, the hostel to me was expensive compared to what I've paid for hotels around Europe, but cheaper for Geneva. Not high amenities and basic small room. Traveler be ware there is NO bathroom or shower in the rooms. These are shared by all. However, I found that I had sufficient privacy the whole... More

I stayed in a 3 person dorm. Its a little cramped but the location makes up for it. Walking distance everywhere. The trains are close by and there is a good place for breakfast downstairs if you dont want to go shopping and use the hostel kitchen facilities.

Geneva is ridiculously expensive and finding cheap accomodation is a struggle. However this hostel offers budget accomodation about a 5 minute walk from the station. The place has hostel style dorms and private rooms and i found the private room basic but ok with a decent bed, storage, desk, wash basin and free wifi. There is shared bathrooms on the... More

Geneva is a very expensive place which led us to this hostel as an option to alleviate some of the financial strain of visiting Switzerland. It has a great staff, clean washrooms (which are gender neutral if you care) and OK kitchens. I wasn't overly impressed with the beds and had a hard time sleeping on the rubber pads that... More

I only stayed at this place for one day/night, but I did enjoy my stay there. The room was small, but clean. Bathroom/toilets were outside the room, on the same floor and they were clean as well. I was given a free transportation ticket for that day, which helped me save quite some money on sightseeings. Good price for expensive... More

I stayed at this hostel for 1 night with my fiancé. We walked from the train station which is only 5 minutes up the road, we used directions from google maps. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were great. The receptionist gave us a map and basically made a route for us around the attractions. He told... More

We booked a private room for two which is nearly the same price for one person in dorm, and we have more privacy. We came late at night and the receptionist is very helpful and friendly. The room is quite small, but clean and neat with two single beds, 1 table, 2 chairs, a fan and a sink. Bathroom is... More

Disappointing experience, especially when one considers the price/value ratio (even if it's in a generally expensive city). The property is located quite close to the train station - which is convenient - but the rooms not only face the street but also the rail tracks. This means the NOISE LEVEL is extremely high almost throughout the whole night - especially... More
