The hotel and service were average for a hotel in Europe. The rooms were smallish but in shape. Great location...tram stop outside the door...close enough to shopping, short walk to the lake...a little longer walk to Old Geneva but still doable and with the tram stop outside you can walk and/or hop on the tram. My main beef is that... More

Second stay at Hotel Royal Manotel - positive experience once again during a longer (8 night) stay. Rooms smallish, typical for Europe, but well appointed - very clean, quiet, location excellent a short walk from the train station. Breakfast excellent - huge variety of hot and cold selections. Housekeeping somewhat inconsistent - face cloths missing, toiletries, etc. Expensive, but not... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night and were sorry not to be staying longer. The hotel is lovely. It is in a very convenient location, close to public transport, shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The shores of Lake Geneva are a few minutes walk away. Our room was very comfortable, tastefully decorated and furnished. The bathroom was well... More

We enjoyed our stay in this first class hotel. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. The rooms were a nice size, very comfortable, with excellent amenities. The breakfast buffet was very good with a variety of options. Given the cost of things in Geneva, the cost for the breakfast was quite reasonable. If I ever have the opportunity to... More

Last year I stayed in Intercontinental on a business trip. This year the business trip required a different place more centrally located. I was pleasantly surprised to stay at Royal. Walking distance to Cornavin and Manor Shopping Place (where you can buy all your favourite chocolates by weight). Has a tram stop right in front of the exit. Lots of... More

We were only able to stay in this hotel a short time, but wish we had longer. The front desk staff we very friendly and helpful. The lobby was large and welcoming and so were the rooms. They were decorated nicely and large compared to other European hotels. The entire hotel was modern and offered a variety of services. The... More

Locations is great. Right in front of tram stop. Near grocery store, train station. Rooms are a bit cramped and dark, but otherwise very clean and comfortable. Just what you would expect from a good Swiss hotel. breakfast buffet is excellent. Staff always friendly and helpful. More than the usual. Definitely recommend it but mostly for business.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. Quality of the rooms is acceptable, however the views to the train tracks are not the best. Staff is very professional, and breakfast buffet is OK. Hotel is well suited for a short business trip.
