We stayed here for 2nights in 6 beds dorm room. The room was large, simple and comfort. Bathroom and toilet are nearby the room. The hostel location is just in the middle of the old town ,a few steps from clock tower. Supermarket is not far. Kitchen is clean and equipped. Reception is on the first floor with no lift, a...

We stayed at the Hotel Glocke for a few nights during our trip to Bern, and on the whole, it was a nice Hostel. Like most things in Bern (and indeed Switzerland) the hostel is very pricey. That said, compared with some of the hostels we have stayed in around Europe, you do at least get a good hostel for...

We stayed for one night in a double room on the top floor. Pros: Location is great, easy to find, in the middle of the old city center. Views on the top floor were really nice! Room was spacious with a nice cupboard for your stuff. Had our own sink in the room. Cons: Very expensive, but likely like all...

I was just here for one night. There was nothing terribly wrong; everything was clean, it was in a decent part of town, and there was a kitchen. But we had trouble getting into the building, the person at reception was not friendly, and the room felt a bit like a prison cell (even when compared to other hostels). The...

The location is very good, at the center of the old city. The room is clean and the staff is friendly. Reception not working all times (9am-12noon) (3pm-10pm). WIFI only available in the first floor and not in the rooms.

This hostel was one of the nicest hostels we stayed in around Europe. Clean rooms. Friendly knowledgable staff. Nice big common area with a kitchen. Right in the centre of town. Would recommend this to anyone.

That's a great hostel, where you can get easy access to day-trips. The bedrooms and common spaces are great, with a good kitchen and common room to rest, talk and have your meals. The staff is well prepared. The place is clean and organized.

Great location, but directions from station were not that clear. Room was small and basic, with bathroom across the corridor. Would not suggest staying here on a Friday or Saturday night if you want a good sleep, as the disco downstairs is deafening - especially for oldies! The kitchen & dining facilities downstairs are wonderful, everything is provided that you...

This place is mostly a hostel, but has traditional hotel rooms on the top 2 floors. The rooms were small with sloped ceilings and dormer windows overlooking the rooftops below. Bern was a spectacular city that looks like something out of Harry Potter. Ancient buildings everywhere with clocktowers and arcades everywhere you turn. Excellent light rail integrated seemlessly into this...

Great place for a first night in Switzerland on the way to the Alps after a long afternoon-arrival flight from the US in Zurich. There are hourly trains from Zurich airport to Bern, and then the hostel is only a 10 min walk from the train station. We had a room for two people with what in the US would...
