We had a great dinner downstairs, excellent room and the view from the breakfast table down into the valley and into the mountains was something to behold. After having had troubles finding something decent in the center of town this was a great find.

This is a wonderful boutique-type hotel near the University area, but in a more quiet setting. Close to downtown by a moderate walk. Very nice rooms and a nice restaurant and bar with a jazz club. We only could stay one night, but we wished we had more time to spend at this lovely hotel.

This hotel has olde world charm with a Jazz theme throughout and each room themed individually. Our Junior Suite was a very large room equipped with a coffee machine, robes, slippers, bedside mats, a balcony and large bathroom. On arrival we received a card for a free drink each which was a welcome addition. The local bus stops at the... More

Visited Bern for the final day of the 2 month long Jazz Festival and stayed at the Unique Hotel Innere Enge which incorporates the hotel, Brasserie Josephine, Marian's Jazzroom and Marian's Parc Cafe. This themed gem is a real find. The spacious rooms are well appointed, tastefully furnished with jazz memorabilia lovingly displayed, dripping with nostalgia. Dinner at Josephine's Brasserie... Lovely room (one of the themed rooms) - great place to stay if you can afford it. If you're into jazz music it has gig on here downstairs. The room was very hot due to floor heating in bathroom so we had window open all night. Breakfast was good quality. Helpful and courteous staff. Really enjoyed the luxury & character... More

Pleasant hotel offering character and ambiance whilst still quiet. Each room appears to have a jazz theme. The restaurant was very good and looked after a table of 8 no problem. I realise Switzerland is expensive but this hotel appears over priced at nearly 550 francs for 2 nights. My biggest problem was the lack of air con in the... More

The hotel itself is nothing that special. Music theme adds some charm. Older facility, but well maintained, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The bed was fine. Breakfast was typical buffet. Hotel setting is very nice, in quiet area a short bus ride to Bern center. Views from the outside patio of the Alps in the distance were great. Wifi worked... More

Excellent roast dinner in restaurant. But be warned...in the jazz bar you may be ordered out of your seats, because reserved seats are not indicated, with no apology or concern for the customer. Rude waiting staff who seem to have received no training. The jazz concert (11.3.16) was otherwise very acceptable

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel whilst visiting family. We requested a suite and it was small and faced the front of the hotel. I did mention it would have been nice to have had a room with a view across the city but was told the hotel was very busy and this was not possible. We had booked... More

We stayed for one night on New Years Day at the end of our vacation. We arrived early and our room was not ready. Talia at the front desk gave us a free bus pass into Bern and we were there with ease in about 10 minutes. The hotel is in a lovely location in what feels like the countryside... More
