4 of us stayed here for the start of our bicycle trip down the Rhine and chose the hotel because of its ability to store our bikes safely indoors and because of its location. My husband and I were in room 202, a basic room with a lovely view out the open window up the road to Spalentor, one of...

Somehow got booked into a room for four on my own (as I had booked for just one pax). So the room provided, 203, was quite big and I must say nicely designed and the pictures on booking.com were pretty accurate. Some may call the bathroom decor a little quirky but in all honesty there was nothing wrong with it...

Excellent location in the heart of the city. Perfect for the station (take the number 30 bus) and all other amenities. As per other reviews, the hotel is a little dated, but is very clean and the staff could not have been more helpful. Good value accommodation to explore the city.

Hotel doubled it's rates for the final. Football fans being ripped off again! Room was basic but clean with a warm shower. Hotel is next to tram lines so can be noisy if you like the windows open. Location is great for walking into the old town and is handy for number 30 bus to railway station. The Spalentor gate...

The service was excellent here and the hotel manager helped out with anything I asked for including directions to various places and a free transportation pass. The rooms were small but that didn't matter very much to me.

Great for a stop over,, the hotel is slightly dated but scrupulously clean with crisp clean bedding and towels, free wifi and a tram pass, free parking 3 mins away in a secure indoor car park. The restaurant is Indian cuisine and is one of the very best we have tasted. Management were attentive and polite, all in all a...

I stayed here because the hotel where I usually stay was fully booked. It's similar to other 3* hotels in Basel - basic, nothing bad but nothing to get excited about either. The location is good and in walking distance to a lot of restaurants. The Indian restaurant which is in the same building does excellent Indian food; breakfast is...

the hotel is simple, clean, and friendly staff, rooms are large and basic but the bed was really good and gave a good night sleep, I would stay away from rooms with a window to the street I found the noise to be a problem, but the location was great and allowd a nice walk around the old city

Not a luxury hotel, but confortable and very well located for somebody who wants to visit and walk through the old city. Friendly front desk. If you stay at the hotel you can get a reasonable price at the restaurant (Indian food).

we stayed here 2 nights last week. The hotel is average, clean, comfortable but very handy, The decoration is almost inexsistant and there is rather alot of noise from the streets as there is a tramway and a bus route that pass next toit . At night its calme and we slept with the window open and weren't bothered by the noise....
