This hotel is right in the heart of the city within walking distance to the train station, the Munster, the Marktplatz and a tram stop about 50 metres down the road for access to the rest of Basel. Note that the hotel was quick to explain + provide us free of charge with the “mobility ticket” which allows free use...

We stayed here for a couple of nights after a Viking River Cruise and couldn't have been happier with the choice. We showed up around 10 in the morning were able to check in right away. The staff were very pleasant and the check-in process was quick and easy. The rooms are typically nice - nothing special but nice. We...

Modern hotel with very helpful staff. Nice swimming pool. Family room was spacious and comfortable, however cleanliness could be improved. Nights can be noisy as several night clubs are in the neighbourhood, but closed windows offer sufficient isolation. Breakfast was excellent, with many options on offer.

Sun.2016.Jul.17 - 09:20 hours We arrived in the morning and went to check-in at reception with Ben. The rooms are ok very clean and comfortable with a basic decor. The location is great right in the center of...

Was there privately over weekend. Feels like hotel was bought a while back, a blue neon light was stuck to the facade and the lobby remodeled. But room feel old-ish, not very fresh and pretty average. Very small bathroom. Tea cup in the room was not clean. Would have been okay for a short business stay but not for a...

Midway between the railway station and Barfusserplaz so easy to walk to most places and good access to many trams. We paid a small supplement to upgrade to a pleasant and quiet room overlooking the inner courtyard after reading some reviews of tram noise at the front of the hotel. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

We recently stayed in this hotel and contacted them beforehand to ask for a nice room as it was a special occasion. We received a prompt response that answered all our questions and on turning up we were given an excellent room that exceeded our expectations. The hotel is well located for the old town, was very comfortable with an...

Our stay at the Radisson blu was nice. It is very close to the train station and the city centre. The hotel gave us a daily travel pass, the tram stops in the front of the hotel. The pool is really nice but what we enjoyed the most is the breakfast buffet which was really tasty and full of choices....
