Very close to the train station and the trams. Hotel is to the right upon exiting the train station. The hotel is clean and the staff were very friendly, pleasant, helpful and speak English well. Included breakfast is excellent with a good variety of hot and cold items, served in a beautifully decorated dining area. The free minibar includes cold...

Nice comfortable hotel very close to train station. Free drinks/snacks in room. Breakfast was good. Rooms were very hot though even in March. I had to open up all the windows to cool down before I could sleep.

Fantastic 4-star boutique hotel with generous amenities located within 7- to 15-minute walking distance of the city's sights and landmarks. Breakfast, minibar and public transport (bus, rail) pass were are included free. The staff even sent us off with a thoughtful goodie bag for our 2-hour rail trip. Highly recommended!

This is a great, small hotel in Basel right next to the SBB rail station. It has been recently renovated, so everything is in great working order. There is a nice grocery store next to it, which is open until 10 PM every day, and there are good restaurants in the area.

I must admit, I booked the hotel solely because of its star ratings and convenient location near the Basel train station, but the quality of their accomodations and their customer service have really exceeded my expections, everything from offering passes to public transportation (that can be used on trams and buses), to the assortment of Swiss products to try out,...

Excellent hotel, with a extremelly friendly team. Wonderfull breakfast. The only possible complain is related to bed, where maitress are low when compared to bed structure. Thus, care when sitting on it.

The Gaia Hotel in Basel, Switzerland was much more than we expected. A family run hotel where they make sure the guests are happy. Excellent on cleanliness, amenities, and friendly, helpful staff. Location is close to the main train station and public buses.
