B&B Piccolo Mondo is excellent for the travelers interested to escape from busy life and enjoy relaxing Italian life style. House is only 1 km away from Perugia center and transfer is available too. Small house is fully equipped, warm floor and big windows made our stay more enjoyable. Thanks Marzia for making our day beautiful by preparing breakfast which included selection of local cheese and homemade cakes. It was unbelievable experience as being part of family.

We arrived by car and after a few hiccups with our satnav we were soon driving up a narrow track up to Piccolo Mondo. It's a few hundred metres down from the town of Perugia in a secluded setting on the hill. The owner speaks excellent English and she showed us up to our room (well actually a small cottage!) next to the pool. Our accommodation was extremely nice - separate kitchenette and dining area, bedroom and bathroom. We didn't cook anything but it was equipped well enough to cook a meal. The bed was a little hard but fine for a couple of days and there was a fan rather than AC - the room kept quite cool so this was fine. The only real negative was the wifi which was very intermittent - strong for a while then nothing for a couple of hours. Breakfast was served from 0830 to 0930 and was a great selection. The owner would prepare coffees, home made fruit juices and toasted sandwiches as well as providing a range of cold meats, cheeses and bread. Really enjoyed our stay here. Swimming pool just about to open so would be nice to cool down in the Summer months.

A stunning B&B situated just 10 minutes from the center of Perugia, 25 minutes from Assisi and other small surrounding towns valuable to visit. A swimming pool to be used in common with other guests, amazing panorama, fresh air and homemade breakfast with fresh fruit, bread and marmalades. Easy going, friendly and flexible owners (included their sweet dog Olaf). If you search for quality relax and you are elastic enough to face an unexpectedly positive familiar atmosphere after months of stressful life, this is absolutely your place. We personally had a very good experience during our 5 days vacation and we feel like suggesting "piccolo mondo" whichever is the reason of your visit through Umbria region (weddings, business, weekend, long vacations etc) since you will have all the comforts you have back home (fully accessorized modern kitchen and living room). Definitely coming back!

We had a very pleasant stay at Piccolo Mondo. Marzia just started up her bnb and with help from her brother Patrick we sure she's making a success of it. Nice pool, fruitful breakfast, beautiful panorama. The bnb is just outside the old city walls on waliking distance and at the same in the green hills, it is also closeby the superstrada, so the other interesting cities of Umbria are reachable within 1 hours drive.
