Wonderful location, beautiful surroundings. Peaceful and secluded. Easy access from Perugia. Great location for exploring Umbria, and the nearby hill towns. Assisi is very nearby, and full of interesting places to explore.

I admit, I would have rather visited Casa Rosa when the lavender was in bloom, but the opportunity came on Christmas break so I made the best of it. After working in Rome for several months and traveling for a few weeks, I was grateful for the tranquility of Casa Rosa to rest, read, meditate and reflect......even when I woke...

Ok, so this is the thing ! I can't write anything about being at Casa Rosa, because if I do it will encourage you and thousands of others to want to go. It's like 'The Secret Place', & I am going to keep this gem to myself, and try to put you all off! Once you find a gem it's...

This is a unique place with soul! I found myself so often simply breathing in the tranquillity. Casa Rosa nestles gently into the landscape and the amazing views feed all of the senses. The apartments are especially individual, enriched by the artwork. The food was a joy and Ella and Alessandro are the most gentle and generous hosts, adding to...

Had a wonderful stay at Casa Rosa. Hospitality, surroundings, service all excellent. I visited Casa Rosa for a Mindfulness Retreat and the place was the ideal setting for such a course. The villa I stayed in was beautiful and the self-catering facilities were excellent. Ella and her family couldn't have done more to make my stay more enjoyable.

Our families came to Casa Rosa this summer for our wedding and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect location and gracious hosts. The landscape is stunning, and the apartments are rustic, clean and peaceful. Ella and Alessandro were great in helping us get everyone to the agroturismo and set up in their apartments. Can't wait for our next visit...

We had a really wonderful and relaxing holiday staying at Casa Rosa in June 2016. We have 2 children under the age of 2 years and Amos and Ella could not have been more helpful in arranging cots, high chairs and a baby bath for us. They also offered to get some food supplies for us when we arrived so...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
CASA ROSA is a traditional stone farmhouse set high in the green hills of Umbria, central Italy, some 10 km (6 miles) north-east of Assisi. The house is divided into four holiday apartments - one large apartment occupying the whole of the first floor, two smaller apartments sharing the ground floor and one apartment in the converted stables. The Farm is surrounded by woods and farmland, located on a spur the farm has panoramic views over the National Park of Mount Subasio. The hills and forest hide martens, porcupine and wild boar, all of which have been seen on the farm. The wealth of bird life includes buzzards, goldfinches and hoopoes. In spring the meadows, fields and verges abound in wild flowers, among them poppies, cyclamen, wild gladioli, and many types of orchid. From May to July fireflies dance in the night, and through the summer the Farm is home to thirty varieties of butterfly. Along the river are waterfalls and natural pools where one can bathe in the summer. The hills, woods and valleys offer many possible routes for walking. ... more   less
