My husband and I spent 3 nights on this lovely property near Assisi. The property dates back to the 1500s. We stayed in a spacious room attached to the main house. The room was a little dark due in part to the lighting in the...More
This is a beautiful property with some very nice rooms run by gracious people serving wonderful food. The family engaged us from the moment we met them. The only thing preventing a 5 rating is that the room we were initially given was unacceptable -...More

My partner will be out paragliding during our June stay and I have read comments about the pool area suffering from too many flies and insects, plus some rooms being dark... Without the ability to chill, relax, sunbathe etc, during the day, my enjoyment might be severely hindered. Can any one reassure me about the pool area and light, airy bedroom facilities, with decent showers? Or perhaps should I stay home?
