The convent is owned by the Sisters of ST Bridgid of Sweden, a Roman Catholic order of nuns, and is on Via Moiano just outside the city walls and in an excellent location. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable; food is home cooked by the sisters and good but not restaurant quality. What the food lacks in style it...

I was here with a group of 18 pilgrims. The sisters here work to provide great hospitality. Basic, spotless ensuite rooms, good views, good food and a great location. The dining room is very good and you can get wind and beer. The sisters serve meals at fixed times. Listen to the sisters singing their prayers is a real added...

My husband and I stayed here for two days and it was nothing short of fabulous. The nuns are gracious, hospitable and very nice. The rooms and bathrooms are basic but very clean and comfortable and homely, I felt like I had gone back to mum's house for the night. Breakfast was basic but nice served by the nuns. The...

My husband and I traveled to Assisi on a very busy week, the feast of St. Francis and there were no available rooms. We stopped at this convent and while they were fully booked with a group, Sister had a small room for us to stay in. The location is superb as you can walk to the walled city of...

Simple but adequate ensuite room with fab views over the Umbrian plain from room and bathroom. Clean, purpose built guest house, run by the Bridgetine sisters (who all seem to come from Southern India, not Sweden). There's a lift; also a large sitting room; great terrace; small rooftop terrace (views!); and library and chapel underground. I was half board at...

Stayed here with family for 5 days on a B&B basis. The Sisters are so welcoming and hospitable. The rooms are spacious and with ensuite. Incredibly clean and comfortable. Breakfast (served between 8-9am) was very simple but adequate, and consisted of bread and jam, yoghurt, coffee/tea, and on two mornings we even had a slice of Panettone which was delicious!...

Stayed here 7 days. Ten minute walk down hill from Plaza Communale, so convenient and quiet. Sisters provide generous home cooking, family style. (breakfast is modest).Rooms simple but very comfortable, airy with views not to be believed.

Sept. 2012 was our first and hopefully not our last stay with the Sisters of St.Brigida in their beautiful guest house in the heart of Assisi. Their hospitality was wonderful and the food was plentiful and excellent! The rooms are simple but immaculate and airy. The view from the terrace on top of the building is a photographer's dream. Sta....

The Sisters of St. Bridgida have a beautiful convent accommodation right in the heart of Assisi. A terrace on top has a panoramic view of the Umbrian Valley below. The rooms are immaculate, the food is great, and full room and board is only 120 euros a day as of September 2010. The sisters are all very accommodating and the...
