When I was searching for a B&B in Siena, I initially looked in town. However, I realized I wanted a place with land and a traditional feel to it. The reviews I read about Podere Il Pero were spot on. Gianni is an excellent host. He is friendly and always making sure all is well. We had an early morning...

We spent 5 lovely days at this B&B in September. This is the perfect base for touring Siena and Tuscany. Old Siena was only 5 minutes Many towns like San Gimignano, Cortona, Greve, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Florence are all within an hours drive. It's less than a 2 minute drive to the highway. Easy on and easy off. I was first...

My family (4 people) has stayed in this small agroturistic hotel for more than a week, so that our judgment could be as precise as possible. We hired the apartment (breakfast is an extra option), which is on the pavement, is very well equiped and very attractive as a design, and our friends (with her little daughter) a room on...

We based ourselves in Siena in order to visit the central Tuscany region. Furthermore whilst Siena is a lovely place we didn't want to be based in the town and the confines of a hotel room Fortunately we found this B & B located on a small farm just 2 bus stops from centre of town which gave us easy...

I booked this B&B through booking.com. We had a great stay. Gianni is very friendly and I contacted him at the time of the booking for the many activities and wine tours he advertises in the website. My girlfriend and I went on the Chianti Vineyard Dinner, booked through him and even though it was raining a little bit, we...

One of the great things about this B&B is Gianni and his family. Gianni is very easy to talk to, passionate about his ancestry, and the history of this place. He is incredibly helpful and welcoming, making suggestions for us about places to visit and eat. The location is a short 3 minute drive to Siena or a 15-20 minute...

We had a great stay. We originally picked a place outside of the center of town so we could park a rental car. Although we ended up returning the car early, we were pleased to be away from all the tourist attractions. It was an easy, cheap bus ride into the center, and if we didn't feel like venturing out...

One of the best Agrotouristica we've ever stayed in. Excellent location for Siena and surrounding countryside. Very welcoming and helpful host. Giovanni made suggestions for local restaurants which proved to be superb. The establishment has beautiful gardens, Flowers,Vegetables, Fruit, Olive and Fig trees to name a few. We did see an area for children, again very well set out. There...

The gardens at Podero il Pero are lovely. My 22 month old son loved the slide and the children`s house. The latter was unfortunately dirty. This place is 20 minute uphill walk to Siena city centre. We tried it once and decided to go by car the next time. Parking outside the city walls (get 6 escalators up to the...
