We booked this hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the view is beautiful. The hotel is located outside of the gates of the city. This can be good or bad depending on your needs. We were here for one day and found it to work beautifully. We took the bus...

Just 15 or so minutes walk from the Porto Romano in Siena, this hotel had beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Our arrival, as with all the administration associated with our stay, was handled professionally and courteously. The room was traditionally furnished as you might expect, but it was very comfortable and beautifully clean and a relaxing place to stay....

Palazzo di Valli is perfect little hotel with lovely views over the Tuscan landscape and convenient to explore both Siena and the surrounding area by car. The hotel is about 20 min walk from the main piazza. Room was basic but comfortable with small tv, and large bathroom - I love the shower cabin - Breakfast (EUR 10 each) was...

TripAdvisor came up trumps again with helping to source a great hotel for our first (and wont be last) trip to Siena. This small hotel is juts terrific. The location is fabulous to access the city on foot and also to get onto the road network. As other reviewers say, the rooms are basic but very comfortable. The breakfast is...

Located 600 m from the pedestrian zone with a nice view and large parking. The rooms are basic, breakfast as well, but both in line with the price. The service was world class. We received the best recommendations on where to go and what to do. Extremely helpful to male our trip even better. Thanks a lot!

We are just now checking out of this beautiful 300+year old summer home which has been beautifully converted into a small boutique hotel. The hotel owners have beautifully preserved the decor and atmosphere. We looked at several rooms and they all were equally beautiful. I completely agree with everyone who commented on the landscape, convenience to the old town, the...

We stayed in Siena as our base for driving to other towns in Tuscany and it was a wonderful choice for that. Palazzo di Valli is a wonderful hotel from the 1700's (I think?) with all of the same buildings and architecture!! Such a great way to experience history firsthand. We stayed in a standard room for 1 night and...

We stayed for a week at the Palazzo di Valli in July (apologies for the delay in submitting this). The hotel is perfectly situated fifteen minutes' casual walk from the gates of Siena and thirty from the centre of Siena itself. It is an old Tuscan country house, probably from the 18th century, which is now a hotel overlooking the...

My wife and I had 14 days in Italy and part of our time was spent in Siena. We wanted to revisit the city centre but also wanted to stay outside of the city in a villa with terrific views and just a little off the beaten path. This hotel was perfect it was just a little south of city...

This hotel has a rural setting with a great view of the country side yet is within walking distance of city center or very near a shuttle bus stop for easy access to the city. Lorenzo and Giacomo are great hosts and the breakfast is first rate.
