We stayed at this hotel 1 night while we were in Siena. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and were happy to give us maps and advice on where to go. There is about a 15 minute walk to the City walls, but we did not find this a problem. The rooms were clean and modern, with nice furnishings... More

This is a lovely hotel and lived up to all my expectations. I would definitely stay here again. I stayed here for a week and without fail the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and cheerful - from the receptionists to the breakfast room staff to the cleaners. Staff on the front desk were always happy to give me information on... More

Dear Anne222, what a lovely review! Many thanks. Just to be honest, bathroom size depends on the kind of room chosen, those of the standard ones are smaller, so it’s possible other guests wrote something about that. I’m very concerned about the glasses matter. I’m sure there was a misunderstanding. It’s true, what we put in the room are plastic... More

I had reservations about this hotel as I had read mixed reviews about it. However, when we arrived my friend and I quickly dismissed all our fears. The lobby staff were absolutely wonderful - they were helpful, friendly and nothing was too much for them. My friend lost her luggage and they were more than helpful with providing things for... At the Hotel Italia i was made welcome from the moment i entered the lobby. The reception staff welcomed you with a warm smile and the checking in was faultless. They gave all the relevant information regarding the hotel, but also advice about getting around Siena and pointed them out on the free map. The room, which was a double... More

The Hotel Italia was a great find and we ended up staying five nights. This was our first trip to Italy, in our 50's and with tales of the dreaded European hotel on our mind, we did not expect to find this gem. The hotel was special, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms, close to railway station and... More

During our travels in Italy, we stayed at Hotel Italia on June 28-29, 2012. It was super easy to get to the hotel from the train station using the fabulous (you must experience this) escalators from the bottom of the hill to the top. It was actually 7 of them that get you to the top of the hill. Head... More

Highly recommended. Parking available. Great breakfast. 10-15 min walk to get downtown. The service was incredible. They took care of our restaurant reservation with a smile. Gave us a map with the highlights to visit. Siena is a beautiful city and if you think of staying there, you should choose this hotel without any doubts!

My wife, teenage son and I stayed for one night while touring Tuscany. The hotel was clean and comfortable with plenty of parking nearby and an easy walk into town. I paid £94 B&B booked through otel.com. Breakfast was a cut above the norm with some interesting options - and decent coffee!
