Our extended family of 9 spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was quiet and simply beautiful in early October 2016. The 3 condos we took were all comfortable, clean and well-appointed. The place is in the midst of olives and wine grapes, just minutes away from some of the best sights in Tuscany.

Just returned from a week's stay in L'Oliveta. Personally I thought the cottage was the best of the properties on site due to its position and being detached. The gardens and view are lovely and provide the perfect setting for relaxing. The cottage had all the amenities you need and was more than adequate for our family of four. The...

This was our fourth stay at Montebuoni and the rural, scenic setting is what keeps us coming back. The location provides a convenient base for driving around Tuscany. Cook in your villa if you like but there are so many good restaurants within a few kilometers that it's like having dozens of magnets pulling you toward excellent food. The villas...

We have been to Montebuoni the first two weeks of October and had gorgeous weather conditions. It is a wonderfully situated place, if you are looking for some peace and quiet. With all the tiny, winding roads you should bare in mind that it takes quite a while if you want to visit places like San Gimignano and Florence or...

Stayed in L'Olivetta for two weeks with our two children after a couple of fab days and nights in fabulous Florence. A perfect contrast to city life. The internal space worked perfectly for the four of us. House is well stocked and very comfortable. Views breathtaking from the master bedroom window and terrace. Gardens all beautiful and full time gardener...

A lovely peaceful and secluded spot. Owners/staff all friendly but unobtrusive and things we asked for or commented on were dealt with immediately. We stayed at La Vigna which was clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. It is a bit small but a lot of time spent outdoors so fine. The swimming pool and tennis courts are...

We stayed at La Stalla in Montebuoni for 7 nights and had a wonderful family holiday. Our family of 5, including 3 children aged 4, 9 and 14 had a very relaxing stay, making good use of the bbq, the pool and tennis courts. The views are magical during any part of the day but particularly at sunset when the...

We spent the first week in July at this beautiful place . Quiet with the most glorious viws of the Tuscan countryside surrounded by vineyards and olive groves . The apartment we chose was a very small 1 bedroom flat , comfortable and well appointed for the 2 of us . My only criticism was that we did not have...

We stayed in the Complex during the Month of May 2012 for our honeymoon. We arrived in the early hours of the morning after a very strenuous Journey in a small rental car from Pisa Airport, It is definately worth reasearching the route via google maps etc.. as a SatNav does not lead you exactly to the complex and that...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Sitting on a ridge overlooking the fabulous Tuscan countryside with its olive groves and vineyards, is the undiscovered Chianti Hamlet of Montebuoni. A cluster of privately owned villas and apartments sit amongst olive groves, beautiful planted gardens and courtyards. Montebuoni was once a large estate producing wine and olive oil. It is these original buildings which have been restored and modernised to a very high standard, with shared pool, tennis and internet access. ... more   less
