They are at the top of the hill next to Pancole, only 5 km from San Gimignano. The views of the valley below were breathtaking. That alone made the visit special. Elena was so charming and helpful. Letizia Cesani, the winemaker, also spent a lot of time with us. They both helped arrange winery visits and dinners in and around...

We had 4 nights here, we were two senior couples and had adjoining rooms right next to the breakfast terrace. A wonderful place, we were welcomed by Melania with a complimentary wine and also looked after fantastically by Elena throughout the stay. We enjoyed the wine tasting and took advantage of the platters they offered as well. Wonderful breakfast with...

Stayed in Cesani for three nights. Had two different rooms over this time. We had planned to stay just 2 nights but decided to stay another. Changing rooms was a breeze. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and the rooms comfortable. With breakfast included, it was a great price. We also did the wine tasting and bought some local wines and...

Our experience started a few weeks in advance of our arrival when I found the Cesani family's Agriturismo on Trip Advisor. We chose to stay here based on or booking with My Tuscan Wine Tours. (Marialuisa Cesani - whose tour we booked). The Agriturismo was very prompt in response to our inquiries, and gave us a rather last minute reservation....

As noted in the headline, I had a terrible experience at Agriturismo Cesani, but perhaps it is not typical. Before I get started, note that I do not often give one-star or two-star reviews (you can check out my review distribution in my profile), and am in fact guilty of a positive bias. I really don't like to give negative...

We stayed 3 delightful nights at Agriturismo Cesani. Elena and Melania were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us great recommendations, directions and making sure that we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The views from the property (and our apartment) are magnificent. Enjoyed a lovely bottle of their Chianti on the patio overlooking the vineyards. Breakfast was wonderful-...

We stayed 4 days in September at the Cesani family's agriturismo which is situated 6 km from San Gimignano in the Tuscany hills. Both rooms (azurra and the glycine apartment) we had were perfect, spacious and clean (because overbooking we got an upgrade to the apartment). We had no problem with the "hard" beds, that's also what we prefer to...

Excellent service and the breakfast was FAB. Our only time we ate grapes for breakfast where they were grown. Would like the opportunity to have dinner onsite. Wine testing was very good with more local food from surrounding farms.

Our apartment overlooked a picture perfect spot, when the sun rose over the country side, it looked magical. The staff was incredible helpful, recommending places for dinner, cooking school, grocery store and directions. It was the best wine tasting we have been to: a very knowledgeable staff explained the difference environment can make while sampling great wine. Breakfast was delicious....
