Stayed here with on a family break sadly only for 2 nights, the host, Gianmarco, could not be more helpful, rooms were excellent, spacious with a kitchen etc. more than enough space to make them comfortable and excellent views over the Tuscan countryside. Didn’t get the chance to eat in the restaurant as we were holidaying with friends and so...

The location is amazing, at the top of a hill, with 360 views, approached by a dirt road, surrounded by olive trees, and views across the valley to Saint Giminagno, what more could you ask for..... A beautiful pool area, great sun beds and umbrellas, and a lovely restaurant ( separately owned) with a terrace with all of the above...

We asked the locals where the best restaurant was and they sent us here. We got lost a bit since it's in the heart of vineyards near San Gimignano. Part of the road is gravel, but when you get there, it is breathtakingly beautiful. The restaurant and pool overlooks the hills of Tuscany and the food was phenomenal. Try their...

The Castello is on the top of a hill "lost" on a tiny dirt road. Reaching the place is not an issue as the location on the site drives you there with accuracy. The view from the Castello over San Gimignano and the nearby hills is absolutely breathtaking. The property consists of superb olive trees, surrounded by vineyards with a...

Perfect location, half way between Florence and Sienna, on top of a hill in middle of nowhere. Toscany on its best with great landscapes. A 17 metre pool and nice staff made everything perfect. Would recommend this to anyone looking for great place to stay in toscany.

Spent an amazing week in Tuscany, this old castle converted into a hotel apartment stood out for its location and comforts. Lovely rooms opening to a wonderful view of SanGimignano towers make the mornings very memorable....of course you need to have a car and need to stock up the fridge for breakfast as breakfast is not served. They have a...

We loved just about everything. Castello Di Fulignano is an amazing and magical place. If you are looking for self-catering in Tuscany then this is it. Beautiful location, beautiful surroundings and gardens. Clean, spacious and well designed apartments with a clever mix of traditional tuscan and modern furnishings. Really helpful and friendly staff. The swimming pool is probably the nicest...

Rare beauty, unique ancient castle, amazing view of San Gimignano hill.. We deeply appreciate the fact that this 1,000 years old castle building has been carefully renovated to be resort with elegant furnishing while its originality has been maintained. An absolute stunning and relaxing experience. Highly recommended to all guests who wish to enjoy history and nature.

Although the facade of this Castello wasn't the most beautiful, that's where the shortcomings stopped. The rooms were big and beautiful, the rolling hills around the hotel were such a stunning view and very quintessential Tuscany - and to top it all off the view of San Gimi on top of the hill. We woke up every morning and went...
