We just returned from a 6 night stay at Villa Ducci. Our family's "room" included a master bedroom, bathroom, separate bedroom (with a very sloped roof) and a small kitchen (with sloped roof). The views from our windows were of San Gimignano about 2 km away and the beautiful country side. This was all provided at a very reasonable rate...

Very nice hotel, was there to check it out as a possible location to hold our wedding. Although it didn't live up to our expectations in that regard is still well worth a visit. Room was very spacious, if a little basic. The wroght-iron headboard & tables combined with the tiled floors give a bit of a feeling of coldness,...

Nice place to be and spent a couple of days. The rooms and the swimming pool are very beautifull and the view over San Gimignano is wonderfull Personal advise : take your diner outside, the choice and price will be better. Breakfast could be better (poor choice and bad coffee) If you can, have your meals outside because it's sad...

There is an easy way to describe holiday in Villa Ducci : heaven ! We stayed almost 3 weeks in Villa Ducci in June (we had the yellow Giuggiola room), and we enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is ideal because of : •Its central location in Toscany, so one can make easily trips to all the nice places...

My husband and I, and 30 of our guests stayed at Villa Ducci for our wedding, and it was the most perfect place ever. All our guests were over the moon with their rooms. Each room has an individual style and the most amazing views - either looking towards the towers of San Gimignano in one direction, or over vineyards...

We stayed at Villa Ducci in early April, our second stop on our two week journey through Italy. What a beautiful hotel. The lobby and common areas are modern, clean and smartly decorated, but the rooms are more country chic and really comfortable (and beautiful). This was a gem of a hotel and a great price, in our opinion. I...

July, 2004 I just got back from a trip to Italy, and spent 8 nights at the Villa Ducci in San Gimignano. While we were pleased with the property, I was TOTALLY DISMAYED by the owners of the property. I have NEVER BEEN TREATED SO RUDELY in all my life! Not only did my family book an 8-nt. stay, but...

Our family of four (17 yr old girl; 13 yr old boy) stayed in two rooms in June 2006. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the Villa Ducci after a whirlwind 5 week trek through Europe. The villa is clean and comfortable. Our only complaint would be that the air conditioning wasn't quite up to the Tuscan summer heat. The...

I have just returned from a week in Villa Ducci and I have to stay it was a fantastic experience. My Fiancee and I had been dying to go to Tuscany and we weren't disappointed. The staff were warm and welcoming and always had a smile. The rooms are clean although a little basic. No t.v. (which we actually learned...

“We had rooms 23 and 24 (2 women in each room), and they are on the second floor, and at the back of the villa. 24 is the bigger room. Great views and very private! There was also a room on the first floor that had a huge terrace of the room. the terrace is open to everyone, but it is kind of magical to have a huge terrace overlooking the hills of Tuscany outside your room!”
