We spent five wonderful days at the Agriturismo Mormoraia in July 2020. Everything was just perfect: from the extremely clean and nice Ribes room with its terrace and incredible view on San Gimignano, to the large and fabulous pool, not to forget the delicious breakfast.
The location is really fantastic, close to San Gimignano and at the same time so quiet and relaxing in the middle of the vineyards! The possibility to have dinner on site is definitely an asset and the food (local Italian cuisine) is just delicious.
We appreciated a warm hospitality throughout our stay, especially during this strange period of Covid19. All the sanitary rules were well in place and naturally followed.
Mormoraia was the highlight of our tour in Tuscany!
Thank you so much!

We stayed only two night at Mormoraia, during a brief Tuscany tour, but it was really great. They have a magnificent view over their vineyards, the rooms have a slightly vintage but beautiful design, beautiful restaurant and very friendly staff.
Unfortunately we could not use the outside pool because the weather was pretty cold ( we traveled there in April), but we had a great time at the relaxation area (dry and wet sauna and outside hot tub) that can be reserved and enjoyed without any disturbances. It is totally worth a visit.
The hotel is very close to San Gimignano and you can get there by car really fast (15 minutes or so).
The restaurant was nice, both for dinner and breakfast and they serve wine produced right from their vines. The breakfast had really tasty options and (I think) some homemade pies and brownies. Just a quick feedback: a few raw vegetables would be a bice addition to the breakfast options.
All in all, I loved it, they have the best sunset view and really friendly staff. I’m sure in the summer it is even better

I heard about this iconic place through different people so I was very curious to visit it and my stay was simply incredible! A part for the best panorama you can see of the typical Tuscany countryside, the place offers different and enjoyable experiences like the personal wine tasting ( they make different labels and they are very good), a cute area around a big pool, a tiny spa with sauna and a steam bath with an open air jacuzzi ; the great thing is that is you can book everything to enjoy the experience privately. ( I truly recommend the Tibetan massage too). The propriety is very big, have a walk around to see all their animals, as well as you should take their electric bikes to have a ride to San Gimignano that is a little gem of Tuscany . They offer different rooms , We stayed in their comfort double room with a private garden to enjoy also some time alone. Also, we had dinner at their restaurant which I really liked ! Hope you can have the best experience too!

We stayed at Mormoraia for one week and selected it after a Sunday lunch and a long weekend immediately after the lockdown period, in June.
The location is super and the agriturismo buildings, pool included, are beautiful! We had a superior room facing the small town of San Gimignano and it was very nice to enjoy some relaxation and cool wind in the evening. All that said, there are some things regarding the organization and the management which could definitely be improved.
Service needs to improve as well as the food offer.

I really regret having to write this review, and it's fair to say that my low rating is for one reason but it was a major reason, and it was totally down to a completely unreasonable decision made by the owner. The staff couldn't have been nicer and had to deliver the instructions of the owner, but it soured our entire stay! I warned them I would have to give a poor review, and so here it is.
The location is outstanding, the views, the pool, the room, the staff, the restaurant were all absolutely fabulous. Normally these would be what I would review, but sadly I am only going to review the bad experience, because it was a terrible blight on our stay.
Mormoraia advertises an EV charger for electric vehicle drivers. When we got there after a long journey, and with another early start the next day, it was important that we were able to charge. I was told the charger was broken. No problem, usually, because we can also plug into a regular socket. Every other hotel we've stayed at has gone out of our way to help, if their charger is broken or in use. So I found a socket, but it was near the wine cellars and for whatever reason, I was told that socket couldn't be used - the owner wouldn't allow it. No problem, since I didn't want to destroy the wine. I found another socket, near the hotel, and after a ten minute wait for permission, I was told that it would be no problem to charge my car there, but a fee would be added to my bill. After ascertaining that it wouldn't be more than 20 Euros, I plugged in. A few hours later, during dinner, a member of staff asked if I would contact reception. There, I was told that the owner had demanded that I unplug. Why? Because, I was told, the owner didn't want my car plugged in overnight. Charging a car is no different in a regular socket from charging your phone, or a lamp. So we had to unplug, leaving us with a minimal charge meaning we'd have to find a charger in the morning in order to start our journey towards Calais. That meant we had to miss breakfast, for which we'd paid. Checking out, I said I was unhappy to pay for breakfast, and the receptionist, who was also confused as to why I'd had to unplug, agreed to do so without argument.

As I said above, all other hotels on our two week trip, went out of their way to assist with EV charging if necessary. Our experience of this hotel, will mean we don't recommend it to others because it was an irrational, unreasonable, and unsatisfactory decision by the owner. It's a great shame, because otherwise our stay would have been five star.

We arrived late and it was already night. They were very friendly and attentive and even served us dinner. Everything was delicious, made on the farm with fresh produce and produced there. The wine was magnificent and the pastas were wonderful.
The room was very comfortable, clean and welcoming. A memorable experience and one to repeat
The view is amazing and the sorroundings very beautiful

As soon we drove in to this gorgeous property with rolling hills, vineyards and a view of San Gimignano we instantly felt relaxed! The details of this resort makes it so special-from the hammocks to the pool to the restaurant-everything is perfection. This is a place that lives up to the photos! We loved our stay. The breakfast buffet was honestly the best we have ever had including American scrambled eggs and bacon, toast, jams, croissants, pastries, juices, yogurt, fruit, etc. We also enjoyed dinner here twice, the food was presented lovely. The T-bone steak was amazing! All I can say is book it. You will not be disappointed!

This place is magnificent. The people, the food, the room, the views, absolutely everything. When we arrived I had a terrible cold and there was no real soup on the menu. We told the waitress as I was sick and ordered something else. She came back a minute later and told us the chef could make me some vegetable soup. It was a creamy soup and was a fantastic comfort food. Just what I needed and wanted. These people go out of their way to make everything perfect. The atmosphere of this place is incredible and I would highly recommend them. Very clean, comfortable beds with nice bedding, and a fantastic restaurant. It was too cold to swim but what a beautiful pool with a view of San Gimignano.

We chose Mormoraia for our honeymoon and were not at all disappointed. The views, the food, the pool and the rooms are all amazing...but the most amazing thing are the staff. So friendly and helpful and lovely. You'll be in the best hands with Eugenio, Barbara, Andrea and Sophia - to name just a few. We were made to feel so welcome. Recommend room Mirto for the spa bath and the privacy. We'll be back as soon as we can. You couldn't wish for somewhere more beautiful and peaceful to stay - such a beautiful setting. You will be stunned all over again, every morning - and then remember that you also get an amazing breakfast too. Thank you!

We had the most wonderful stay at Agriturismo Mormoraia. It was my husband and I and our 3 boys... 22, 20 & 17. They accommodated the 3 boys nicely in a large 2 story room with a jacuzzi and my husband and I had an adorable room in another building. The rooms were very clean and the beds/pillows were great. The staff from the concierge to the wait staff, to the grounds keepers could not have been nicer. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the view of San Gimignano was spectacular. I had originally wanted to stay in the walled city but It was amazing to come home to the pool after a hot day of sightseeing. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and to sit there with those views was amazing. My only negative was that the only wine offered was the ones they produced. Wish there was a larger selection.

Boston, MA.
