This hotel is expensive considering this old hotel, with a very outdated restaurant. In the area there is no place to park your car. You have to use their parkingplace, but it costs €10 per day on top of the expensive room.

Looks affordable until you realise they're charging you extra for everything but the air you beathe. Rather shabby, breakfast till 9.30 only and a so-and-so restaurant cuisine. This exquisite location merits something quite different.

The room was large and with one of the most incredible views of the Med that you will ever have from a hotel room - but I was extremely dissatisfied with the customer service at the hotel, and with the bed. The bed was so uncomfortable I could hardly sleep, and then to add insult to injury the people staying... More

Beatiful view of the bay. The room was clean and nice. The staff was helpful in kind of strange way,the manager was rude. We had dinner at the restaurant. Ok food. Breakfast was also ok. Overall : ok.

In order to be just, the location of the hotel provides the guests with a beautiful view of the bay. But that's it. The rooms, are keept clean, however the furniture was old, the closet doors didn't work, the door to the balcony couldn't be locked and in TV only Italian chanels were offered. One of the TV sets didn't... More

The location and views across to Elba were everything we hoped for. We asked for a sea view but the room we were allocated with its massive balcony, good bathroom and everything worked including a useful fridge. Luckily our SatNav found it OK. THe facility of a small beach and lounger area in Summer was excellent and the centre of... More

This is the only hotel I know which, because it is built up the side of a cliff, you enter at road level into the car park and then take a lift down three floors to reception. The quirkiness continues with a unique decoration style in the main lobby. Rooms are clean and have all necessary facilities. Breakfast is adequate... More

Someone took us to this hotel and recommend it as one of the best hotels from Piombino. After staying there for almost a week I'm agree to disagree. The only advantage was it's location. As minus the rooms are little, with iron beds where you can hurt if you are not careful, not to mention that is very dangerous if... More

The hotel is well positioned on the cliff face and has a fantastic seaview. Difficult to find initially because satnav does not recognise location. Rooms were reasonably equipped, comfortable and clean. Food was excellent and service was first rate. Value for money was about the best I have had. Own car park is small, but there was always space during... More
