The staff were so lovely and speak perfect English! This is an older style hotel and the decor is a bit dated but it is really so clean! It's really well maintained with nice big rooms in a great spot at an excellent price. I would stay here again! Very good value for money.

Stayed here whilst cycling solo from Lancashire to Sicily in June 2014. This was one of the worst hotels I stayed on I'm afraid. Very tired hotel, basic and dingy room and poor breakfast. Location is good though for the sights of Pisa but I won't be returning to this hotel!

When passing through Pisa, i booked this hotel. It's a decent hotel, nothing fancy or charming. But it does it's job. The beds weren't very comfortable. Location however was perfect for visiting the city.

I just spent a week in this small hotel. Though, I ended up there by pure coincidence as everything was overbooked, I would not have traded my stay at his small gem for any five-star alternatives. From the moment, I arrived, I felt welcome and was always met with a natural smile. Placed in a quiet street just a five...

I was in Pisa for work, not the average tourist. I needed accommodation near the University, which is in the centre of town, near Piazza dei Miracoli. Turned out that Hotel Amalfitana was the best option, as recommended by my colleagues in Pisa. The bus from the airport stops nearby, which is good. The Hotel itself looks like an old...

This hotel is in a good location, it is old but not dirty and the a/c worked, but those are the only good things about it. Small rooms are to be expected in Europe, but the bath was so small that you had to step over the bidet to get to the toilet and the shower was so tiny I...

We arrived at the hotel about 10:30 at night and were trying to get our bearings. We asked the clerk how to get to the leaning tower. When we found out that it was 2-3 blocks straight down the road, we immediately headed there. What a treat to see the tower and cathedral all lit up at night and almost...

A good hotel if you are only going to sleep there and use the hotel to go around Pisa and other places in Tuscany. Rooms are small but clean and air conditioner effective. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast is not bad for its price. You may want to try it and try elsewhere. The place is crawling with cafés....
