We're 20-somethings who were looking for a great B&B on a budget! We really feel like we found a hidden gem! We shared a bathroom with 4 other rooms however we barely saw the other guests and never had to wait for the shower. The lady who owned the B&B was very friendly and kept the place spotless - she came to clean everyday. We had access to the garden which was nice and the lady had cute pet rabbits running around the garden! Breakfast was available at 5 euro extra charge. There was also access to a large fridge and freezer to store food/drink during our stay.

The location is really good - 10 min walk to the tower, supermarket and restaurants. We did a lot of travelling to different places in the area - it was a 30min walk to the train station or there were buses running from directly in front of the B&B. Although there's no beach in Pisa, we went on the train to Viarregio and Vada which were all fairly close. Both had fantastic beaches and Vada is one of the...

I stayed at B&B Arcobaleno for one night during a three-week motorbike tour in Southern Europe in May 2010. On my trip, I stayed at various hotels and B&B's of roughly the same daily room rate, and I rate Arcobaleno the worst.

It took me a while to realize that the reception was located in a building that was situated on what looked to me like a short side street of Via Fabio Filzi, which was the nominal address of the B&B. My room was located in another building across the street. It was raining heavily, and the hosts kindly provided me with an umbrella.

There was no heating in my room, and it was freezing cold. I had to wear lots of clothes and blankets to stay warm during the night. The bathroom was swarming with ants (or some other bugs of the like).

The breakfast was served where the reception was located, and it was rather simple but all right.
