We spent a single night here in September . We wish we had allotted more time to both Lucca and Locanda. The B&B had all the necessities. We were greeted by the family grandmother promptly. She gave us some wine and before we had a second sip the adult son/manager arrived. He got us settled and gave us all the...

We only were able to spend one night, but enjoyed the amazing building, our charming room, and the common area where breakfast was served. The weather was cool so we did not get a chance to sit on the amazing terrace. The breakfast was very nice and many options were provided. If you want a unique experience in Lucca, stay...

I confess we were a little surprised when we arrived as we hadn't appreciated that the accommodation is effectively a sub-divided first floor apartment within a shared apartment block. Entry is therefore via a communal hallway and stairs and initially we were not sure we were in the right place. Once inside, the communal kitchen/dining area is stylishly furnished and...

This Maison de Charme is an absolute gem, tucked away in a maze of cobbled streets right in the heart of beautiful Lucca. It would be hard to find a better placed location and equally hard to beat the quirky perfection of the rooms, and the outdoor terrace, with room for 3 tables for an evening glass of wine and...

Lovely, Wonderful, Magical, Amazing, Excellent, Breath-Taking... it's hard to find an adjective that doesn't fit!!! This was our second time at Locanda Sant'Agostino!!! That alone should tell the story... The Sant'Agostino is truly a magical place... It sets on a quiet piazza right in the historic center across from a large church and a quaint little trattoria... We're fortunate to...

My husband and I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Locanda Sant'Agostino. We walked there from the train station and it took about 15 minutes, which was no problem for us as we travel light. The building is an historic beauty, our room was clean and bright and we were made to feel at home. Water and beverages were available...

From our first connection with the owners, we felt that we were special and cared-for. This is family owned and we were welcomed as if we were old friends by Giacomo! He showed us to our breath-taking room - ceilings so high, with a beautiful chandelier and fittings - we felt like a king and queen! Comfortable bed, lovely shower,...

The location of this locanda is great, in the old historic center. We had a hard time finding it so we called the owner and he met us at the entrance of the old town. The place has three very nicely decorated bedrooms-Tuscan style- and a lovely terrace. The Bed is comfortable, the room is great with super high ceilings.We...

We spent 2 nights here and throughly enjoyed our stay, the breakfast was so large that we hardly needed lunch. The amenities provided are first class, we were met as arranged, the car parking (at an extra cost) is a bonus. Highly recommended.

“Top room is upstairs & very private. Furthest room opens onto the square. Inside room is quieter and wifi more consistent. All charming.”

“There are only three rooms - one on the first floor with the kitchen, dining, and other guest area and two on the second floor. The first floor room was spacious, attractive, and very livable. There is no lift and the building once was a palazzo, so there are stairs to be considered.”

“There are only 3 rooms and I expect all are superb! No elevator but the hosts will gladly help you with your bags.”

“There are only 3 rooms. The "Square" is large and very nicely furnished. It overlooks the street but we did not have any problems with noise; we left the windows open since it was warm even in late October. The "Teatro" requires climbing another set of stairs, but it has its own balcony overlooking a garden.”
