This is really a B&B, i.e. breakfast but no restaurant for other meals, but then who needs that in Lucca which has so many great restaurants! The rooms are all themed on the legend of Arthur, ours was one of the larger ones I think and well worth the price, it was comfortable and we enjoyed the luxury of a... More

Longing to visit Lucca for many years, the chance arose and we booked the Corte Di Re Artu based upon the reviews and what was available. What a lucky choice it turned out to be. Easy to find, easy walk to Lucca, quiet location with adequate parking available. We had a top floor suite. It was well equipped, spacious and... More

This B&B is nice and cozy, clean and with a very friendly host. Very good located, close to the historical center of Lucca. The room price was adequate. One minus point for the breakfast, which was only ok. We ended up spending 4 nights there, instead of 2 as planned.

Stayed one night in this hotel, situated just a short walk outside the city walls, with client parking. Really unique rooms, beautifully decorated, very clean and a good selection for breakfast. Would definitely recommend this quaint hotel.

We were visiting Lucca for a sports training event over the weekend and wanted to stay close to the historic city-centre so that in the evening we could visit the centre easily. We found this charming bed and breakfast in the listings and chose it for the competitive price and for the curious and charming name. We found the staff... More

What a beautiful and quirky place! We booked very last minute and thought it would be a bit of a wild card. Our room was fantastic, open brickwork, full of amazing artifacts had a medieval feel to it, very snug and cosy. Lovely little bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic with a great personal service and parking was arranged for us. The... More

Good hotel with a good location. Few minute walk to the old town. Good value for the money. Based on all the photos, the outside of the hotel was not what we expected but it turned out to be good after all. There are only 6 rooms and the staff is not always around. As we checked in, we found... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in October and found it an excellent base. It is only 5-10 mins from the walls but also only 30 mins walk straight through town to the train station - we did this several times and it was a pleasant walk. Having stayed in several hotels in Italy, I thought the breakfast stood up... More

My husband and I stayed in Lady Ginerva suite in this restored house for one week and it is a 10 minute walk from the old town of Lucca. It has its own parking on site or if that is not available, there is free parking just around the corner. The house is restored in the medieval style and our... More
