It's in a fantastic location in the heart of Lucca, in an exquisite palazzo with a beautiful courtyard, and the staff were super-nice and I had a hilarious view of the Torture Museum from my bedroom, but I did not like the decoration...

This is a lovely little hotel with the most awesome door into the courtyard. Absolutely stunning. Everything is on the doorstep that you need or want to see. Walking and cycling the wall is incredible. The staff are so helpful and point you in the right direction with maps and ideas. Breakfast is also lovely. The downside, which the staff...

Hiel entrance located on main pedestrian street, with numerous restaurants, shops and close to many notable churches, but set back with courtyard, so secluded. Lucca is best visited without a car and can be easily walked within the city walls

Do Not - Repeat - Do Not accept a room on the street side of Lucca's main drag, Via Fillungo, or the side street, Via Busdraghi - unless you don't care about sleeping. Other reviews talk about the noise, but none I see mention the loitering bands of loud, rude, belligerent drunks who decide to party under the hotel room...

Could not be better located. Via Fillungo is the main shopping street and leads one everywhere, including markets, sites, and the marvelous wall. Lucca is a wonderful city abounding with great food, nice people, good wine, pasta, pizza espresso and more. We were there over Thanksgiving and experienced Black Friday deals which here a hoot and money saving too.

We stayed here for three nights, reserving three of their eight room for a family gathering. The rooms were very clean, roomy, and had extras like a jacuzzi tub or a shower with jets! The beds were very comfortable. The staff were on a first name basis, eager to please, and waited on us hand and foot. The breakfasts that...

We stayed two nights at the Palazzo Busdraghi. We were thrilled with the quality, location, and the gracious staff. Our room was spacious and decorated beautifully. My favorite feature was the giant windows that opened inward, allowing us to sit in the comfy armchairs and listen to the hubbub of the street below. Traffic is limited inside the city walls,...

We loved our experience from the moment we opened the huge wooden doors and entered the courtyard. The hotel staff were so welcoming and gracious throughout our stay. The room was beautiful and felt very luxurious and the food offered during the breakfast was the best we had during our trip--especially the lemon ricotta crepes. The location within the walls...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at A Palazzo Busdraghi. The location is superb, right inside the main gate in the old town in Lucca on one of the main pedestrian streets among gelaterias, trattorias, little shops and cafes. Considering the amount of people in October, I can imagine that the summer months can be a bit crowded. The palazzo itself...
