This was a special place to stay. From the start the staff were welcoming and friendly and helpful. The house is typical Luccan in a vintage sense with hgh ceilings, stone floors, beautiful fittings etc and all with a fantastic view and right in the centre of town yet dead quiet inside. We stayed for six nights and for some...

I stayed here for five nights on the first part of a solo trip to Italy. I have traveled a lot in Italy and this was a special place. My room overlooked the quiet Via Streghi. The b&b is very quaint and clean and safe. It seems to attract only the kindest and most interesting guests, making for wonderful mornings...

This is my favourite place to stay - we couldn't wish for anything more, it is perfect. our third stay, first one with our 6 yr old, who loved it. Sylvia and her team are just lovely. Stay longer, unwind and enjoy it - we did and can't wait to go back and do it again!

We stayed at the Evelina on our first-ever trip to Italy, earlier this month. It is a beautiful guesthouse, and Silvia is an excellent host. She welcomed us so warmly, gave us great tips and advice about where to go and what to see, and provided perfect breakfasts on the balcony. It's ideally located in the heart of the historic...

I had an amazing stay at this gorgeous B&B. It is right in the centre of Lucca but tucked away in a little street so that it is peaceful and quiet. It is spotlessly clean and all the decor is authentically Italian. My room was stunning and the views spectacular. Breakfast on the terrace was fabulous. The host is really...

This is a wonderful B&B. Silvia is so considerate and helpful with great English and the rooms are beautiful. When Silvia found out that I am vegan she specially purchase soy yoghurt and milk for me. I've only had one other experience staying in a B&B and it wasn't great so I wasn't too sure about staying here. This B&B...

This lovely B&B really is in the center of the old town of Lucca, down a quiet alley off the main shopping street and a short walk from the famous Roman amphitheater. Silvia the host is charming and helpful, and serves up a nice breakfast including some delicious cake. The decor is stylish, comfortable and welcoming with a classic twist,...

Stayed at Evelina's for the second year. Silvia is a wonderful host and the bed and breakfast is second to none. It is unique in that it has Silvia's personal touch and is beautiful. She is so helpful with directions/suggestions etc. Her breakfast cakes are to die for. No better B&B will anyone find. Dave and Yvonne Hudson X

Location was great. Very clean. Breakfast good. Hosts and employees were very nice. Room was very basic yet comfortable. Bathrooms were shared but was never a problem and kept clean. My only negative was sitting area could be a little more comfortable chairs and reading lamps since rooms don't have chairs and there was no where else to spend down...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Evelina B&B for more than 2 weeks in November, while studying Italian in Lucca. Silvia was a thoughtful and helpful host, responding to my questions and needs and offering good suggestions for restaurants, travel, etc. My room was lovely, spacious, and clean, with a fabulous view. Although my room was right off...
