The hotel is well located by the port, the decoration is dated but the room are clean and spacious. The isolation from other rooms and the street could be improved (I could hear my neighbour talking and coughing and the cars woke me up in the morning). The breakfast is basic.

I only stayed here for one night and was expecting something quite basic when I arrived. In actual fact it was lovely, I arrived very late at night due to a delayed flight and I was grumpy and tired. I was greeted by the cheeriest, friendliest receptionist ever who said 'oh, you're here' It instantly lifted my mood, I felt...

I booked and guaranteed my room a month in advance. Here is what happened to my wife and I. We began our vacation in Nice France, and planned to take the ferry from Livorno to Corsica. We drove 4.5 hours through Italy and arrived at the Hotel around 9pm. When we went to check in we were told we did...

This old place was interesting and I quite liked it here. The old man working the desk when I arrived was very welcoming and gave several good suggestions for where to have a late dinner. I was only there ten hours and left early the next day to join a ship, but the time spent was pleasant. The only annoying...

We arrived in Livorno on the ferry from Sardinia, with just enough time to have a drink before bed. The helpful receptionist recommended the Nelson Tavern, which was absolutely great, and subject to a separate review. The rooms were small and comfortable, and the breakfast was OK. Ideal for a one-nighter, but maybe a bit small for longer. Note: you...

I can't say enough about this little jewel of a hotel. The rooms were immaculate and so comfortable. The view from our room of the statue of the Cuatro Moori was awesome. The staff to a person, was friendly, polite and most helpful. When, I don't say if, I return to Livorno, that is where I will stay.

The best thing about this hotel is the location and the reception staff and nothing else. Our reservation was confirmed but when we got their they side that they had full occupancy and they can't honor the reservation because they had problem with their reservation system, but they help and instead of our one room they end up giving us 2...

I stayed in Hotel Gran Duca for one day before getting a Ferry to Bastia. I actually booked the residence Gran Duca, but got a free upgrade to stay in the hotel. The hotel was a nice traditional property. I had a single room, which was fine. The bathroom was new. The walls in the room were a bit shabby....

I stayed at this hotel for a week on business in early July. The hotel has a feel of being fairly traditional but with some updates. The bathrooms for example looked fairly new and well-kept. The bed was comfortable and the room (on the 3rd floor) fairly quiet - although I could hear other guests in other rooms. Livorno is...

The air conditioning is joy working (end of April), but yoi cant open the windows either as the street is very noisy. Roons are badly isolated, you hear neighbours walking in the room upstairs and going to the bathroom. Hotel is old but that you can still tolerate. The bathroom is refurbished and the beds are ok. Definately ovepriced.
