Whenever we visit Florence, we keep coming back to this lovely hotel at the outskirts of Florence. The rooms are charming, with the patina of bygone age, there is also a beautiful garden with jacuzzi to recuperate your strength after a strenuous day in a city (but please remove plastic chairs, they really don't belong there). Typical breakfast is accompanied...

Booked this place on the train to Florence - last minute. Called and spoke to Marco who was extremely accommodating and able to secure rooms for that night. Wound up staying 3 nights because of how incredible this place was. The property was as amazing as it was historical. Rooms were impeccably clean, especially the bathrooms. The view from my...

We stayed at the Ape Rosa Relais whilst in Florence visiting friends. This is a very old building dating back hundreds of years but is well maintained and appropriately decorated. High ceilings and lovely paintings complete a very ambient setting. The bed was comfortable and the room a good size for the two of us. Breakfast was varied with pastries,...

I stayed in this hotel for four days. We chose it because it was very pleasant and comfortable despite of its location (about twenty minutes away from the city centre by bus). You will find a bus station just next to it. The room was very spacious, comfortable and very well-equipped. Breakfast was really good and we had a good...

We stayed for 4 nights with a 4 year old. We were made to feel so welcome, everything was so clean and they couldn't do enough to to help us. After a hot day in the beautiful city it was a blessing to return to the air conditioned room and the pool..which is also a jacuzzi. I would definitely stay...

Good access to the centre of Florence by bus. Secure property with ample parking. Rooms were air conditioned, which is great in the middle of summer. The website photos do not depict the current condition of the property. Outside areas require attention; very untidy.

Ape Rosa Relais is a nice hotel on a beautiful piece of land in Florence, Italy. But, I have to say we were somewhat disappointed. I booked this hotel because we had a rental car and there is safe parking. However, we were surprised to learn there was a surcharge for the parking which I was not informed about while...

We only spent one night here on our Italy vacation, and we regret that. The grounds are gorgeous. So relaxing. You can easily forget you are in a busy city. The staff was very attentive and helpful. They helped with taxis and atrenticenswered questions. We never had an issue with taxis not being able to locate it, so that's comforting...

I have been there with friends last new year's eve. 3 nights. The b&b is nice, very quiet and charming. The bus is very useful and there is no need to move by car to go to the city center. Good breakfast. Good and safe parking inside the property. They are very friendly and helpful. Now the dark side: there...

I spend a night in Ape Rosa Relais this is typically cozy place with very warm welcome from Helen, the hotel owner, and her staffs. The parking is free and the Bus number 4 is easily to reach the Florence downtown. Overall anytime a trip in Florence, I will definitely stay in the Ape.
