I was left a little disappointed. My expectations were for something better given high cost. We stayed for 3 nights. The distance from Florence centre is about 2.5 kms which in the heat you need to get the tram which is 3 stops. We purchased our tickets from the hotel. We also used bus route 12 to get to where... Dear bondbaby007, thank you for choosing us for your stay in Florence and taking time to write this review. August is indeed a very hot month in Italy and all movements even the tiniest can feel overwhelming if you are not used to the high temperature, nevertheless, we are happy that you found our garden and swimming pool a happy... The apartments are super modern located about 25 to 30mns walk from the centre of Florence. Ideal for a relaxed quiet setting. The staff were fantastic you can rent bikes and cycle along the river. The team is 2 mins away and if you are driving reserve parking. The breakfast was the only let down but Loft 9 is great... More

Recently stayed with our 9 month old baby. Also would reiterate other positive reviews…far enough away from Florence to escape the bustle, close enough to easily access and enjoy the city. Rooms were comfortable and were cleaned daily. The kitchenette had everything we needed to keep our little girl happy and a highchair/cot was also made available for our stay.... More

Riva Lofts has a lot of major flaws. Let's start with the good aspects. - very special architecture - lofts with lots of space - nice pool That's about it concerning positive feedback. From our experience there were critical issues about this place: - extremely annoying cricket sounds everywhere - unlimited mosquitos (tiger mosquitos which are quite) - unfriendly staff,... More

Brilliant location and beatific surroundings! No complaints at all really excellent room and staff. The garden is stunning and the rooms are fantastic. The area the hotel is in is a little out of town but it's simply a 25min walk or three stops on the tram and you're in the heart of the city. Highly recommended!

We selected this hotel based on its location on the river, the free bikes, and the pool. I'd say our expectations were only met with regards to the location.
