I had the pleasure to stay at Le Tre Stanze, using it as a base over a few days to explore Florence. I got he room at a very short notice as the hotel I had booked at turned up not to have anyone in reception in the evening. The top floor room was spectacular in terms of its uniqueness...

50 steps from the Dome in Florence, right across the street is a small supermarket and with sparkling clean linen etc. Funky décor and furniture. Highly recommended. I'll try to come again. No telly which was a real bonus. Lots of guest books for us to use.

We stayed in the Mansarda for 4 nights, an incredible space, of which I said: "we could almost live here". The room is huge and airy, surrounded by windows on two sides overlooking the rooftops of inner Florence. It includes a small dining table, marble sink, large walk-in cupboard with skylight, and a little room with shower and toilet. Just...

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Le Tre Stanze during October 2012. Patrick and his family are extremely gracious and the accomodations are fantastic: clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is literally steps from the Duomo so guests can quickly escape the bustle of tourists and relax in the quiet setting of the inn. I highly...

We were recommended to stay here by Federica at Agrifuturismo and we were not disappointed! The style is stylish shabby chic with lots of interesting arty books etc. around the place. We first stayed in the Mansarda, which was very light and airy with massive open windows and a lovely terrace with a view of the Duomo, before moving to...

My 18-year old niece and I stayed at Le Tre Stanze in the Garden Suite for 3 nights. It is a large and unique unit, which thankfully stayed quite cool in the summer heat, as it is on ground floor. The lodging is walking distance to everything and half a block to the Duomo. There's a small grocery store across...

We rented the Junior Suite & Mansarda for our family of five. Both rooms were HUGE, and you just can't beat an evening on the terrazza off of the Mansarda. Patrick was the perfect host, quick to provide recommendations when asked. The welcome plates were also a nice touch. The location? Perfect. And the beds? Heavenly!

Just returned from a week in Rome and Florence - our stay at Patrick's amazing apartment made our trip. The rooms are as they appear in the photos, if not better. The small touches from fresh fruit, biscotti, water, slippers and dressing gowns made the apartment more of a b&b experience versus just an apartment rental. We were in the...

Truly a lovely place to stay in Florence. Patrick is a great host, our room was private and had a view of the Duomo. It was also crazy romantic to be up there and the decor is beautiful. We felt like we were staying with a friend, albeit a friend who never bothered you or got in your personal space....

We stayed at Tre Stanze for 2 nights in early November, in the New suite on the ground floor with our own exit to a small garden. A large draped bed centered the ~60 square meter large room, wich also had a small kitchen area, perfect for making coffea or preparing simpler babyfood but not really suitable for cooking meals....

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
