Once we came across the Accademia House website our search for a quality B&B in Florence (for approx 100 EURO a night), was over. The accommodation stood out head and shoulders above the dozens of other badly presented B&B's. And once we contacted them to check on availability, the service was very prompt and friendly. After a few emails back...

We stayed at the Accademia House for five nights in June 2007 as part of our honeymoon. Marco the host was friendly and helpful, although not always around (could be good or bad, in our case, was good as we were pretty independent). The stairs were a little off-putting at first but once all the luggage was brought up, the...

Visited Florence to watch the MotoGp at nearby Mugello. Can only add to the good reports that have gone before. Centrally located only a few minutes walk from all the sights. Loads of resturants and bars nreaby. Once you manage to find the place and get up the somewhat uninviting steps the place is wonderful. We stopped in the antique...

The location is neither great nor terrible. If you're willing to walk 10-15 mins to get to central location then it is ok. The man who runs the place is knowledgable and friendly, but lacks the grace and tact one might expect from someone in the hospitality industry. Rooms are spacious with ok decor. Ask for the modern room. Pricing...

We stayed here for four nights on our honeymoon. The owner, Marco, was so nice and went out of his way to book us our museum entries in advance. He was also helpful in pointing out special places to visit in the city (providing us with a map) and in giving us reviews of restaurants. He even drove us to...

We stayed at the Accademia House for three nights in May. It is a cute little place owned and operated by the very friendly Marco. Our room was very big, even though it was the smallest of the three available. It was cutely decorated and clean and the bath was a good size as well. The bed was very comfortable...

A very well priced B&B within 15 minutes walk of all that Florence has to offer. The accomodation is on the first floor above a shop and looks like nothing from outside. Inside however is stylishly furnished, there are three rooms in differing syles. Breakfast is a cappucino and couple of cakes taken at the cafe over the road -...

We stayed at Accademia House over the Easter long weekend and recommend it without any hesitation. The street and building that houses Accademia house is quiet and unassuming. The street entrance opened to a non-descript stairway but as soon as we entered Accademia House we were delighted with the decor, welcome and cleanliness. The huge bathroom included a bathtub which...

My girlfriend and i stayed here for a week back in January and absolutely loved it. We had the beautiful deluxe antique room (which is almost intimidatingly HUGE!) with a lovely view out on the street for when we wanted to watch the world go by. Marco is a wicked host, as involved as you want him to be and...

My girlfriend and I just spend a whole week in Firenze and lived at this great B & B. The host was extremely friendly and immediately made us a map with information about places...
