The hotel only has 25 rooms so for people like myself who like smaller hotels it is perfect. 2 minute walk to the center or Florence, this hotel is really in a great location. The rooms are clean and the beds are really comfy, i got a great nights sleep both nights there. The staff as like last time were excellent...

Lovely friendly welcome, very knowledgeable staff and so centrally located. An ideal boutique hotel for tourists wanting to be a stones throw from all of Florence's main attractions. Had a great time.

Ten minutes walk from all the main sites so the hotel could not be better situated. Very quiet in the hotel itself. The rooms are modern and the Art displays interesting to look at. The staff is charming and very efficient. Good breakfast too and an excellent restaurant at 2 minutes from the hotel.

I'm really hesitant about my review - my brain now says it is like 5* but when I stayed there it felt a total 1*. Why would it be a 5*? Well, it's located in the centre of Florence, walking distance from everything. The property itself is very impressive, with spacious reception, generous rooms with a nice decor and clean...

Wonderful hotel in florence with a great artistic charm and ambience as associated with the city itself...good sized room and bathroom with the benefit of a small fridge that uk hotels need to wake up to....spa facilities and great , friendly , helpful staff. A beautiful city , a shame only there for three days will definitely be back.

Very nice boutique hotel with a pleasant staff at a very good location in the ancient city centre of Florence. Nicely designed rooms with great beds. Very clean housekeeping. An OK breakfast, with a sufficient variety of choice, but not overwhelming. You'd better sleep with closed windows, because it is somewhat noisy in the street at night: A disadvantage of...

Lived this place. Everything was no more then 15min walk away. But there was a club beside the hotel. Me and my wife didn't mind cause we joined in on the fun while we stayed. The spa area was nice but wasn't at all private. Breakfast was very nice. I don't have anything bad to say about this hotel. Think...

Firstly the staff were friendly, the first thing is the smell when you enter the hotel. We did ask reception staff and was told it is due to "Historic Palace" under the Hotel...very strange as I thought the spa was underneath. Anyway very sewer smell, hard to stomach when breakfast is on the ground floor. Room very noisy kept awake...

Dear Jackie, thank you for having been guests at Borghese Palace Art Hotel. Unfortunately, in these days, the whole area surrounding the hotel is subject to this problem of bad smell. Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
