We stayed in this small hotel for a week while I attended a conference in Florence. The hotel room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Breakfasts were good, and the location was quiet. All of the wonderful sites of Florence are in easy walking distance. This is not a fancy place, but perfectly done... More

What a great hotel in spectacular Florence, reception was always eager to help and at €110 a night the room was great! Lovely outside areas to relax after a long day of sight seeing. Staff were friendly and helped us with some great recommendations on where to find quality restaurants. Breakfast was good value. Will definetely recommend

We were first put in a room that wasn't big enough to swing the proverbial cat round in, but very clean and tidy. Then put into a larger room which again very clean and tidy. Noisy because it was on the street side. TV very small, no English programs. Breakfast was a bit crowded, only a small room and items... More

Mia cara is really centrally located. 300 meters from SMN and the close to main attractions like accademia galleria and the duomo. The staff are really helpful with information and suggestions on where to visit. Breakfast is elaborate with cold cuts, eggs, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee etc - altho it gets monotonous since it doesn't change. Rooms are comfortable and... More

This hotel is a real gem. Rooms are modest, but clean and spacious.. Bathroom clean and appears to be recently renovated. Great central location. Very helpful reception staff. The included breakfast is very good..wide selection of fruit, pastries, yogurts, cereals, eggs etc-- much more than I would expect from a hotel in this class. Highly recommend for travellers looking for... More

Florence is a fabulous city, very laid back and easy to walk around in. This hotel was just a few blocks from the train station and an easy walk. We were able to walk from the hotel through a route of many famous destinations and back without a problem. The staff is friendly, and the spa services are reasonably priced.... More

We stayed there last year during a 2 week holiday in Tuscany and The Cinque Terre. Not to be confused with the current big name chains, it is tucked away on a side street a 5 minute walk from the metro and a ten minute walk to The Duomo, Effuzzi Museum, etc. The rooms are very current style wise, each... First, this hotel is VERY close to the train station - only about 3-4 blocks! It was very easy for us to get to the hotel on foot with all of our luggage. It is also VERY reasonably priced for the area and the staff are very friendly and helpful! They also have a "spa" and we all got hour... More

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Mia Cara with a comfortable room, spotless bathroom and a great hot breakfast (best enjoyed in the little garden outside). Its walking distance from the train station (5 min walk with luggage - just walk down the road right outside the station, keeping the garden to your left side) and to the... More
