The apartment was just what we needed. The kitchen area made staying with a baby so much more comfortable than in a hotel. The staff were attentive and helped us a lot - and Daniela even noticed from our passports that it was my wife's birthday and gave us a bottle of wine! It is very clean and has EVERYTHING...

Our family stayed in the three bedroom Ponte Vecchio apartment for 3 nights in July. From the first contact with Daniela, the entire experience was excellent and exceeded all our expectations. The building's location is near enough to all of Florence's wonderful sights yet just far enough away from the throngs to allow our family some quiet time to recharge...

Dear Peter yes, our residence is near to the city center but, in the same time, in a quiet area not too much turistic. As we are in "Oltrarno " many apartments faced on the river and on the main important historic building of Firenze ( Palazzo Vecchio, Santa Croce... Pontevecchio bridge..) . Many families find our apartment very comfortable,...

Position: just outside the pedestrian area, 30 mins walk from the train station and between 10 to 30 mins walk to anything important. The house is lovely, with everything you may need and nicely furnished. Even if you are not planning to use the small kitchen, you will enjoy the feeling of staying in a holiday house rather than a...

I lived in Florence for several years & wanted to return for a month long visit. I did not want to stay in a hotel or wear out my welcome staying with friends. Palazzo Serristori was the perfect option. My 2 room apartment was immaculate & nicely decorated in typical Palazzo style. The queen size bed had nice linens &...

We had stayed at various hotels and apartments in Florence until a couple of years ago we discovered the Serristori Palace. Easy parking, air conditioning plus washing and ironing facilities were just what we wanted while staying in this beautiful city. Daniela is forever cheerful and helpful with a great knowledge of where to go,eat, drink etc in her city. We...

A stones throw away from all the sights- we had a lovely time even in our apartment with the lovely wine gifted to us! Daniella is a really lovely host and was very welcoming and helpful. We stayed at the Serristori Palace hotel in April 2015. It was perfect. Location is just across the Arno from the main attractions of Florence, hence a bit of a refuge from the madding crowd. Daniella is a wonderful hostess, helpful and cheerful. The Ponte Vecchio apartment we stayed in was spacious and clean, with excellent wifi and modern conveniences....

This is a classy, clean, no-hassle luxury accommodation. We stayed for four nights and want to return as soon as we can. Daniela greets you before you enter the building and continues to meet your every need. What a delightful, special individual. Our room (#5) was next to the street. Great view but you have traffic noise. The San Niccolo...

We loved the Serristori Palace. It was perfectly located away from the tourist crowds but only a 10 minute walk to the main sights. We had the "Duomo" room which was spacious and had views across the river to Florence. Our apartment was clean and very spacious with a well equipped little kitchen. A bonus was the laundry downstairs which...

Dear guest, thank you for allowing me to remember that we are located in one of the most beautiful areas of Florence, famous for the local (bar. pub restaurants) and for studies of the artists / painters (including the famous CLET) plus we are near also to the Santo Spirito area,, where you can still see the work of the...

Staying in Piazzale Michelangelo

Neighbourhood Profile
Piazzale Michelangelo
Just outside the ancient walls of Florence, Viale Michelangiolo starts. It is a winding road rimmed by wonderful poplars and holm oaks. The long ascent opens up to the most beautiful and famous panoramic viewpoint of Florence: Piazzale Michelangelo, where an elevated terrace offers visitors an incomparable and breathtaking view of the entire city from above. During good weather, Piazzale Michelangelo provides visitors with a serene space surrounded by the amazing landscape, better if accompanied by a fresh gelato from a local kiosk. During night, visitors will be dazzled by the warm lights of the capital of the Renaissance. Spend a second with the silent Romanesque beauty of the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte: the one that wishes good morning and good night to Florence!

“Las habitaciones que dan a la parte lateral y trasera, aunque tienen menos vistas (aunque también muy agradables al jardín y el barrio de San Nicoló y la montaña) son mas tranquilas de ruidos de la calle principal. Las que tienen terrazita son ideales.”
