My wife and I often vacation in Italy and this is truly our "home away from home". We sometimes stop by and visit Florence just to see the wonderful hosts, Angela and Cherubino. They are so warm, friendly and helpful that you can't help but feel like "family" by end of your stay. The rooms are large and comfortable with...

This is a kind of place one will always remember and recommend whenever somebody will ask us where to stay in Florence. Especially if you are traveling by car.,very secure parking. Good restaurants and shops near by and just 15 minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio.

Located in an amazing "neighborhood". Walk to some wonderful (comparatively inexpensive) restaurants, pubs, and shopping. Ten minutes to the Boboli Gardens and Michelangelo museum. Ten minutes beyond that and you're at the Leather School, Santa Cruce and Duomo ... and minutes more to the Uffuzi, Accademia, Piazza Republica and Ponte Vecchio Bridge. Don't feel like walking? The hop on hop...

Stayed here for several nights and enjoyed the genuine Florentine architecture, comfortable large bed, and quiet nights. Also, the free and secure parking is a huge benefit. The hotel is on the edge of town so be ready to walk about 25min to the city center (wear comfortable shoes for the uneven cobblestone). For the quietest rooms, choose upstairs in...

We rented a car for our holiday in northern Italy. The residence is located just outside the city vehicle restricted zone (ZTL). A few days before I arrive at the residence, the host sent a personalised e-mail to ensure that my wife and I were able to find our way there without unintentionally going into the ZTL. The residence provided...

The Residence is a beautifully restored villa set in a tranquil garden in a posh area of Florence. Just a 20 minute walk to the main attractions. Angelina is an amazing host. She has made our stay a truly memorable one. This is the place to return to while in Florence!

Fantastic Location, secure parking, great host, large comfortable well appointed rooms. We stayed at the Residence Michelangiolo early June 16 for two nights whilst visiting Florence. The Residence is perfectly positioned about a 20 min walk from The Ponte Vecchio and other main attractions. The owner was most helpful with regard to locations to eat and visit as well as...

This hotel is a converted residence with 17 rooms set in a beautiful walled garden. Our room on the main floor had a patio where I enjoyed reading & listening to the birds after busy days. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a king size bed. Angelina, the proprietor was a gem. Her dining suggestions let us explore new...

Begin with a simple reality ... Florence is two cities: the tourist center and all the rest. Stay in the tourist center and yes, you're close to the major attractions but also face extraordinary € for your room, parking and dining. Or stay just a 20 minute walk outside of the "white zone" and enjoy a spacious room, zero parking...
