From the minute we took the tiny lift up the four floors to the apartment, we loved it. So central that we could pop back for lunch, siesta or to drop off our shopping. Plenty to eat for breakfast, nice views over the rooftops, and quiet (even though we were in the centre of the city) - and our host... More

My family and I stayed in this little apartment when we traveled to Florence. It was a nice little place that was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of things to eat for breakfast, lots of sweets and other things. The apartment was nicely stocked. The location was fantastic. We were walking distance to everything that we wanted to see.... More

What a gem this place is! Franco was there to meet my mother and I on a 3 day break for her 85th birthday. Perfectly located and quirky we loved it. Fridge and table generously stocked for breakfast. Clean and tidy with everything you could want and much better suited to us than an impersonal hotel - and much less... More

Had a 3 day stop over at this charming little bolt hole in the centre of Florence. Fantastic location, only a few streets away from the bridge and main piazza - you can even glimpse the palazzo vecchio from the living area. We travelled with two young kids and couldn't have had a more relaxing break. The apartment was very... More

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights recently and couldn't have asked for a better location. The apartment was up 4 flights with timed lights which made for a dark trip first time until we worked these out. There is a lift but if was a tad tiny and after walking all day the extra excercise wasn't an issue.... More

I would gladly give it 4.5, but TripAdvisor didn't let me. We spent a glorious week in Florence in this appartment. We had everything: fabulous location, space (2 bedrooms, large bathroom, kitchen/living room), AC, well-stocked fridge and a very attentive and friendly owner (Franco). We would return to La Loggia, but would kindly ask Franco to repair the shower drain... More

We (two couples) loved this apartment for our 3 nights in Florence. Franco (the owner) was very friendly, he greeted us on arrival, helped us with luggage, showed us the apartment, left us the keys and his telephone number, and the apartment was ours. The apartment is located in the heart of old Florence, 2 blocks from the Ponte Vecchio... More

We stayed in March 2011 and I am finally getting to write our review. The apt. is located perfectly, right in the thick of olf Florence but on a quiet, pedestrian street. You can walk everywhere from here. the apt is newly renovated, clean, bright and warm! Having heat is touch and go in italy, eg on for only a... More

What a little Gem. This small 2 bed apartment on the 4th floor of a 15th century building right in the middle of Florence is brilliant. We stayed here for 3 nights and could not have been better placed because it is literally 100 mtrs from the Ponte Vecchio and all the other beautiful sights in the city. Because of... More

In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries.
